brilliant performance tonight, 0-0 is probably a fair result, but scotland played brilliant and we were unlucky to not sneak a goal.
gilmour was excellent, didn’t do anything fancy/ spectacular, but was solid in the midfield and always offered something positive. looked a claw above the others in his position. great starting line up, good players in every position. clark set up with confidence and we played well.
all in all i think that was a great scotland performance, bring on croatia, it is now 99% in our own destiny. 4 point almost guarantees you through the group stages, so tuesday is still a must win against croatia and i don’t think we have anything to fear!

I thought picking McGregor and O'Donnell was suicidal and gave Scotland no chance. Both of them were much better than I expected.
Gilmour is an absolute star though. Him in midfield changes the dynamic completely as Scotland suddenly have a player capable of dominating good players constructively rather than just looking to nullify them. It's a shame that the one thing Scotland doesn't have is a proper top level goalscorer, lack of goals will likely end up the reason why we won't go through. Stick in a McCoist, Mojo, Dalglish or Law tonight and we win that game. Even a Kenny Miller at his peak would have helped win that.

Scotland were brilliant but didn’t threaten an England team doing a credible impression of San Marino?gilmour was excellent, didn’t do anything fancy/ spectacular, but was solid in the midfield and always offered something positive. looked a claw above the others in his position. great starting line up, good players in every position. clark set up with confidence and we played well.

Get real!
A much better lineup and much better performance. We got a bit of luck early on but worked hard and deserved a point. If England scored I don't think we would have got back into the game. We're short of international standard players in a couple of positions but I think Clarke deserves credit for playing 2 up front.
He did have a good game, but he won't get that much time and space in other games.
There was a bit early in the first half when he gave up the chase very easily and allowed his man to run into a dangerous position.
O'Donnell was also very good. He was unlucky not to score with his volley.
Hanley was probably MOTM for me. I was surprised how good he was last night. There's lots of complaints about how bad English players were, but like when they played Croatia sometimes you have to credit the other team for making players look poor.

I am not a huge football fan, more of a casual, in its original meaning, fan, but two things occurred to me. First, that did not look like 44th v 4th in world, and if Scotland had a McCoist or Dalgleish, they would be properly bloody dangerous. Good shift by all the lads, deserved result.
Though Scotland played well, criticised Clarke for his team selection against the Czechs but he got it spot on for the England game.
Gilmour will be a top top player, special shouts for Hanley,Adams and O’Donnell who all played well.
For the squad the English have , they are utter crap, crying out for a top class midfielder, or atleast a good system that utilises the players they have.

Gilmour will be world class
+1He looked completely at ease and like he belongs at the top level; I'm sure he'll be appearing regularly and often for Chelsea in the PL next season.
