I thought Celtic played very well tonight. It should have been more comfortable than it was.
A good result for Rangers as well. I didn't see too much of the game. I can't quite work out what happened at the sending off. Looked like all three players were having a nibble and it looked aggressive. I'm sure if the ref realised it was a second yellow one of the other two would have been booked.
Both teams still with a chance to progress. Both games will be far from easy.

fk knows what happened at the red card. Just seemed like a couple players had a minor nibble but nothing anywhere near a yellow card (for my money, sans replays).A good result for Rangers as well. In both teams’ hands going into the 6th game, I’m certain I would’ve taken that at the start of the group and I expect the Celtic fans would too.
Rangers to get through and meet Liverpool next year
I’ll reserve judgement until I see a video but for now I’ll stand (to be corrected) by my initial instincts that it was very harsh.
On another note, we’re incredibly (un!?)lucky in that we have probably 4 world class players in 2 positions for the national team in McGregor, Gordon, Tierney and Robertson. If any of those four had been born an attacker we might have had a different recent international history.

The video will show that Morellos should have been booked for the first foul so rangers are lucky he is available for the last group game.On another note, we’re incredibly (un!?)lucky in that we have probably 4 world class players in 2 positions for the national team in McGregor, Gordon, Tierney and Robertson. Glad we’re in agreement the ref was lacking in competence Glasgow man charged after glass bottle incident at Aberdeen v Rangers match
By Evening Times Online
The bottle landed in the home section of the South Stand of Pittodrie Stadium shortly before the end of the SPFL match between Aberdeen and Rangers on Sunday August 5.
It was reported a 12-year-old boy was hit by the bottle in a "glancing blow" but was not injured.
On Thursday, police released CCTV images of a man they wanted to trace in connection with the incident in Aberdeen.
Officers said a 44-year-old man from Glasgow has now been charged in relation to an alleged culpable and reckless conduct incident.
He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.

What’s the point in this post? Anything to bring to the discussion here? If we want news we can watch the news...By Evening Times Online

This is the Scottish football thread, where any minor misdemeanour by Rangers, a Rangers player or Rangers fans can be flagged up, dissected and debated to death, whilst ever so slightly more serious crimes by people very close to Celtic are given complete radio silence.Know your place.

A moronic reply to a moronic action!
Indeed, launching a projectile into a crowd knowing that there’s a good chance it will strike someone is bad enoughKnowing after the event that it struck a child and writing it off as “littering” inidicates the mindset at play
They truly are “the people”

Interesting that you link my post to my being a Rangers fan and can’t separate the two. Prejudice much?Knowing after the event that it struck a child and writing it off as “littering” inidicates the mindset at play

As I understand it nobody was hurt, and I’m glad that is the case. It was shocking and totally irresponsible behaviour. We have laws based on consequences in this country and thankfully there were no serious consequences, hence my littering comment. I trust he will be punished appropriately as we can’t have eejits launching stuff about football stadia.
