I repeat how sad
There is loads of football threads on here and most include wind ups and chat from rival fans. I don't see any other people singing up to PH solely to get all offended and touchy about talking about football. Why does PH attract Rangers fans like you? There is always a few on the go who usually end up banned.
Isn't it more sad that you've signed up and offer absolutely zero to this thread? Any point you try to make is usually rather daft and the rest of the time it's just silly stuff like this.
Why are you here? If you don't like it why not go back to a forum where you feel comfortable and can offer some valid contribution?
No Old Firm game is meaningless so will be hotly contested but it looks like a no win situation for Rangers!
If they win they will get league was over and Celtic had the cup final to think about and if they lose the gap is huge and have made no progress!
If rangers do lose will Gerrard be under scrutiny because I think he has had a very easy ride from the Scotish media?

One thing is for sure Lennon won't be at Celtic next year after than humiliating result and performance. It looks as if the players want him out.
Not one player got pass marks for effort out there. You'd have forgotten some players were on the park.
Rangers on the other hand were right up for that. They fought for everything and ran their legs off.
Fluke goal for the opener. Celtic's defence was laughably bad for the second.
Hard to believe Celtic had only one shot on target and created nothing else. What a sitter is was by Burke too. I thought he looked really good in his first few games, but he's looked a mess recently. That said since Lennon came in he is far from the only one.
I thought the ref was good today. Calmed and controlled nearly everything. Other than not booking Defoe for another ridiculous dive and Flanagan was a straight red he got everything right.
Hopefully more quality in the games tonight. I'm at the Barcelona v Getafe game tonight.

It's even worse than a Man Utd game. The atmosphere is as flat as fk and just full of tourists. There's a band of about 50-100 Barcelona supporters behind the goal trying to create some atmosphere, but other than the irritating screechy Asian tourists it's dead. The stadium is far less than half full. I know it's a dead rubber for Barcelona, but I expected more from their last game at home.
Effort levels have been very low. Messi has hardly broken into a run.
Getafe had their chances in the first half. They missed a sitter and had one ruled off for offside. He looked offside from a poorly timed run. The linesman flagged, dropped it, then raised it again. A bit odd.
Hopefully the second half is much better.

In fairness to Lennon, Celtic were approximately as good as Brendan Rodgers’ team’s last outing at Ibrox too.
That Rangers performance took everyone by surprise. Nobody was prepared for that and everyone assumed Celtic would turn up and win with ease. Players like Johnston played due to all the injuries. This time Lennon decided to rest the player of the year, send Weah home, and pick Johnston again who I don't think has had a sniff under Lennon.
A bad week and selection that has blown up in his face. Today was self-induced and ruined any chance he had of getting the job full time.
Shelley Kerr would do a better job.

Fantastic result today, bar a 25 min spell in the first half rangers were absolutely dominant.
Kamara’s Twist and turn in the build up to the 2nd was utter class.
Looks like Celtic have as big a building job as us In the summer.

Dominant is too strong a word. Other than the fluke goal and shocking defending for the second Rangers never looked like scoring either.
Celtic just need a manager to install some work ethic. I read Lennon has been very relaxed and offered the players extra days off. He had really sucked the life out of the team.
It makes things more interesting for next season. I do guess the false hope will fall flat on its face again.

How many will remain at rangers?
I can see us cashing in on Morelos and fav while there stocks are high. Also got the five loanee players and Macauley will probably retire. Can see us releasing lafferty too.

I agree with the Celtic managers having to install work ethic, however I think that Celtic team has grown stale and needs an injection of new playersDominant is too strong a word. Other than the fluke goal and shocking defending for the second Rangers never looked like scoring either.

Hopefully Rangers can be more consistent next season and mount a better challenge

The same thing happened before Rogers. The same bunch of players were going through the motions and just winning enough. Rogers turns up and the effort increased enough to go unbeaten all season. Hopefully Rangers can be more consistent next season and mount a better challenge
Since then the effort has dropped year on year. It's going back to the Ronny Deila years.
Celtic had a kick up the arse at new year and thumped teams to open the gap. Since then the players have turns off.
The players are more than good enough, but the attitude is wrong.
I think it shows how great a coach and motivator Rodgers is. Takes Ronnie’s team and makes them unbeatable for a noticeable period domestically, then Lennon has a shot and...
WRT Rangers I think most if not all of yesterday’s starting XI will be here next year. The side has evolved a lot even in six months as Gerrard susses out who can do the business.
Here’s the team that drew 1-1 against 10 man Dundee, for example:
I’d love to invest in Kent as I think he’s an appreciating asset. Sure Gerrard and the recruitment team know what we need, just a case of hopefully attracting players who can adapt to the pressure.

You must be pleased with your new manager Edinburger he’s certainly got you playing better than your old one
Good on the football front so far, but is he another character with no temperament? Said he would’ve knocked the fourth official’s teeth out today:https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/48085398
Quite an incredible bad example to set as leader of a club supposedly trying to stamp out their hooligan behaviour.
Well at least he’s quickly learning to behave himself
