Why are Rangers and their fans celebrating the weekend's game like they've won the Champion's League? It's a meaningless end-of-season league game.
A few posters on here (you know who you are) were highly critical of Hibs fans for the exuberance and resulting pitch invasion at the 2016 Scottish Cup Final. Last weekend we saw yet another senseless pitch invasion by Rangers fans. Any comments on that?

No excuse ever for invading pitch. It’s good fun beating Celtic. Not sure I know anyone who’s celebrated like a Champions League, or even a League Cup win, but there was a bit of extra meaning because we’ve now played them off the park both times at Ibrox this season. We made them look second best, even though the league table obviously shows that we are.

There's a gulf between Rangers and Celtic, even with Lennon in place. In my view, of course.

FFS it was bad enough than tens of thousands of Rangers fans indulged in the Lisbon Lion's won't see 10iar song, didnt realise there was a pitch invasion, talk about small time, small mind A few posters on here (you know who you are) were highly critical of Hibs fans for the exuberance and resulting pitch invasion at the 2016 Scottish Cup Final. It wasn’t quite a large proportion of Rangers’ support tearing up the national stadium, I’m not even sure any fans’ shoes touched grass but I’m happy to stand corrected. Not acceptable in any case.Edinburger said:

How many times, this season alone, have Rangers fans i) invaded pitches, ii) damaged stadiums, and iii) thrown missiles onto the pitch?
It;'s not a competition. Far from it. But please take off your rose tinted glasses and see what actually happens at Rangers games.
For the record, some Hibs fans are not angels either, but please stop going on about the 2016 final as that was genuinely down to exuberance.

You’ve totally lost me. I’m saying the behaviour of Rangers fans is unacceptable and you’re still saying I’ve got rose tinted specs on. I fear you may be actually physically unable to comprehend what I’m posting. I’m genuinely not sure whether to laugh or feel sorry for you. You've already voiced your concerns about Hibs fans behaviour.

There is basically no point in discussing this with you.

You seem to be in complete denial about the demise of Rangers, about the sectarian behaviour of Rangers fans and also about the hooligan element of the Rangers support who throw missiles and invade pitches.

I’d phone a doctor as I think you’ve had a stroke or some sort of episode. I criticise bawbaggery no matter what shirt a fan is wearing. There is basically no point in discussing this with you.
If it’s a Hibs fan or a Hibs manager though, you call it exuberant or inexperienced when they invade and destroy pitches or threaten violence against officials respectively. I’m not the one with a problem here.

The only people threatening violence on the pitch on 21/5/2016 were the Rangers fans (note lower case 't') who should never have been on the pitch at all. They only went on to have a fight.

I wasn’t there so can’t comment on individual fans’ motives about scrapping or celebrating or causing criminal damage. Suffice it to say no fans should have been on the pitch. The only fans on the pitch were bawbags. And every fan on the pitch was a bawbag. The only people threatening violence on the pitch on 21/5/2016 were the Rangers fans (note lower case 't') who should never have been on the pitch at all.
