Unless he’s injured then he’s done at Celtic!
It does feel that way. The fact it looked that Edouard was going to miss this game, and Lennon still hardly gave him any game time to get match sharp, I don't think he was ever in the plans to start today. Edouard runs Rangers ragged every time. If he's fit enough to play he should be on from the start. If he's not really fit to play dropping Griffiths completely makes even less sense.

Well, that was some game. Almost as good to watch as Hibs v Aberdeen yesterday.
Could have gone either way. Rangers should have wrapped it up in the first half. I'm glad Celtic won though as Rangers were an absolute disgrace. How Morelos remained on the pitch is beyond me. No class. In fact, he is absolutely sickening. And what a cheat he is. Complete lack of discipline and absolutely no respect towards his manager, his team, his club or Scottish football. Sooner he leaves the Scottish game the better. I hope the SFA's Compliance Officer was watching. I'd be ashamed to have him in my team. Rangers fans are having a laugh when they say he's a £10m+ striker.
Anyway, well done Celtic. Oh, and what a game Fraser Forster had.

Well I’m a bit sick after that. Has there ever been a more one sided cup final let alone an old firm one? Celtic have one shot on target, and it’s offside, and it’s the difference. That’s the way it goes - sign of a great team etc etc.
Really feel for Morelos tonight - should’ve had a more than one penalty and missed the one he did get, as well as great saves from Forster all match long. Congratulations and enjoy the success.

If Morellos has the slightest notion of class I might sympathise, but he doesn’t and I don’t. In football you tend to get what you deserve. Celtic played poorly, really missed the out ball that Eduard provides, but stood firm and stayed composed when it mattered. Forster flawless under pressure... as good a goalkeeping performance as you could imagine.
Hail Hail!

Very strange line up.
Starting Morgan and dropping Griffiths makes little sense to me. It doesn't seem as if Griffiths will ever be back.

Strange old game. It's odd that the last numerous Celtic v Rangers games have had one team playing well and the other badly.
Celtic were absolutely awful today. Two players played well and one of them got sent off.
Forster was outstanding today. No question MOTM. Frimpong looks like a star in the making. People questioned his ability to defend, but he cut Kent out of the game and was the only Celtic player doing anything positive. Rangers players clearly wanted the shirt off his back.
Morgan is a poor player in his right position. He looks lost trying to play as a forward. The difference was huge when Edouard came on. Rangers first reaction to him coming on was to put the boot in knowing he isn't fit. Sadly that backfired as that's where the goal came from.
Johnston should have wrapped the game up with another chance created by Edouard.
I'm looking forward to the previous poster putting a montage of fouls by Morelos in this game. Warned for persistent fouling early in the first half and went to commit foul after foul. He kicked out at Brown, put the studs in Julllien's achillies and how many times did he dive? He was never off the floor. It's a miracle he wasn't sent off, but didn't even get booked!
I'm sure after Aberdeen faced heavy criticism for their dirty tactics during the week nobody will be defending Morelos for his conduct today?
He lost the place and totally bottled it again. He can't handle playing against Celtic. Bonkers decision to let him take the penalty. He was always going to miss that.
There was no other penalties. The first the contact was minimal and he took a second before throwing himself to the ground. The second one contact was minimal again and Johnston was pushed into him by Tavanier anyway.
Not the best of football games in those conditions, but it was exciting.

A fair summary. Yes I can’t believe Morelos wasn’t booked for persistent fouling. Brown’s one on Morelos was a penalty for me, makes no attempt to play ball and fouls Morelos, but happy to accept that I wouldn’t like it given against my team if the shoe was the other way round. Similarly Celtic goal is offside and Forster penalty save is off the line so should be a retake.Celtic were absolutely awful today. Two players played well and one of them got sent off.

Can debate stuff til the cows come home but it’s Celtic’s name on the 10th trophy.

It was offside. It was marginal and it's not the blatant mistake some people are claiming. Can debate stuff til the cows come home but it’s Celtic’s name on the 10th trophy.
Gerrard's claim that the linesman should have put the flag up for one of the three people offside was odd.
IF, and it is a big IF, Forster's two feet were off the line it was the matter on an inch. It was only the woman's world cup that they went to these tedious levels and needed VAR for it. Nobody liked it when they were far too picky.
The BT still picture had the ball already in flight and it was hard to say Forster's heel wasn't on the line.
I thought Celtic in general were poor and The Rangers seemed more up for it. But if you dont score, you'll never win.
Celtic battled where it counted, and The Rangers decision to not give the ball back when Clown shoe did Jullian, seemed to galvanise the Celtic players and get them through the last 15 minutes or so.
A very pleasing result, and shows there is such a thing as Karma.

Just for info: he’s absotively posilutely off his line before the penalty is taken. The BT still picture had the ball already in flight and it was hard to say Forster's heel wasn't on the line.
