Just about every penalty the keeper moves off his line and usually far more than an inch or two. Everyone was in agreement that the woman's world cup was farcical when keepers were getting pulled up for that. The same rules have never been applied since and not even in the VAR equipped EPL.
You can't judge that accurately in real time especially when you need to see the ball and the keepers' feet.
Fans making a big issue of that are clutching at straws. I genuinely can't think of a single instance where fans have made an issue of a keeper being an inch of two off the line. It happens all the time and never causes an issue.

Very strange line up.
Starting Morgan and dropping Griffiths makes little sense to me. It doesn't seem as if Griffiths will ever be back.
Unless he’s injured then he’s done at Celtic!Starting Morgan and dropping Griffiths makes little sense to me. It doesn't seem as if Griffiths will ever be back.

Lennon does make some strange decisions around selections, but he seems to get away with it. I’d really love to know why Griffiths wasn’t even on the bench today. I still think he’s the best out and out striker we have.

I think you’re the one that’s clutching at straws Driver, as you can clearly see from the photograph Morelos hasn’t even made contact with the ball and the keepers front foot is at least a yard of the line.
You're further clutching at straws by changing the rules. His rear foot is a tiny amount off the line and the chances of that being pulled up in a game of football is practically zero. It happens ALL the time.

Having just watched a rerun of the cup final and seeing lots of photos of the winning goal it is not as clear cut an offside as was reported.
The linesman had a split second and lots of bodies jostling for position and the advantage should be with the attacking player so the decision was fair imo.
Morelos not getting even a yellow was amazing with the amount of fouls committed and the number of dives with one blatant straight red when deliberately trying to injure an opponent.

It was very close. The linesman had a split second and lots of bodies jostling for position and the advantage should be with the attacking player so the decision was fair imo.

Stills used to highlight offside completely missed that Helander was directly in front of Jullien. The line was based on the next two Rangers defenders.
It's hard to slate the linesman for a call when with the benefit of replays they couldn't see a player.
Morelos just can't handle playing Celtic. He completely loses the plot and all composure. He can't be trusted.

Yep, as Driver101 said it's a very close call and hard to criticise the linesman or referee for it. We'd all be complaining about VAR if we had that too.The linesman had a split second and lots of bodies jostling for position and the advantage should be with the attacking player so the decision was fair imo.

The behaviour and attitude of Morelos is completely unacceptable. It is beyond me how he gets away with it. He is very bad for the game in Scotland. He is a bad role model for kids and the sooner he leaves the better. Horrible man.

Sounds like Hearts have bought themselves into a fight with their new management.
Now, this will be an interesting development.By the way, the comment on their press release mentioning Jack Ross is outrageous. Bad decision. Lots of die-hard Jambos are mortified about that.
How bad do you have to be to be sacked by Barnsley?!

He was talking to another Championship club, without permission, about taking that job and had sounded out Barnsley players to follow him.
Barnsley are also going to fight for compensation from Hearts.
I missed what Hearts said.

Look at this part of their press release:
I know many life long Jambos who are furious at that.

That's not the smartest of comments. Obviously trying to get one up on their rivals, but just look a bit daft saying it.
Seems a bit of risk for Hearts to go for a guy with this saga hanging over his head. They better hope Barnsley aren't entitled to compensation.
Yep, I agree. Strange decision by whoever signs off their external comms, but it's done now.Seems a bit of risk for Hearts to go for a guy with this saga hanging over his head. They better hope Barnsley aren't entitled to compensation.
I enjoy the banter between Hibs & Hearts media teams. The “natural order” stuff etc. Much better than the usual boring stuff. It’s an entertainment industry after all.
It seems that Barnsley think they still had some contractual entitlement over Stendel and his team, but Hearts and their new management team consider that to be nonsense/unenforceable/just plain fishing.

Lots of positive-looking squad vibes from Barrowfield.
Hopefully a few of the less recently active players get a run out against Cluj.
