Davie Provan is a dick.

Brilliant entertainment and a well deserved win.

He was unbearable at times tonight.

It was a deserved win. The Slovakia keeper was having the game of his life with plenty of help from the crossbar.

Still a long way to go even after this game.

Sadly, it has followed the normal script. I wonder who will replace Strachan?

Sadly Strachan and McGhee will be kept on
Even if they did get the dunt then it would be a Moyes or a BIlly Davies appointment

Listening to the radio I think Michael Stewart summed it up well. Too much respect is given to players from England. There's the assumption they are better than we've got in Scotland when they aren't.

Scotland played their best games with a bigger Celtic influence. Forrest and McGregor should have been playing tonight. Players in form and with a goal threat.

Matt Phillips came if for most of the questioning. He's not done much at all.

I read the thread about English fans losing patience with the English team with so many of their players either not applying themselves, or not good enough. I think quite a few of our English based players suffer with the same issues.

I'm undecided if we should stick with Gordon. He's seems too stuck in his ways to make the team what the fans are calling out for.

The thing is, who have we got that,

a) is better then Strachan
b) would want the job

I see him staying on unless he resigns.

Why not have someone cheaper? If £500,000 a year doesn't result in qualification how will the situation be any worse if the salary is reduce to say £100,000?

Moyes, unless he's hanging about and hoping for the Celtic job

Rodgers has that job for as long as he wants it, he'll want to be there for the ten in a row.

Apparently we didn't qualify because we are a nation of shortarses.

Obviously Spain missed the memo...

Strachan talks some frivolous st at times.

In addition to that, how can he on one hand say the team was set up to defend set pieces yet is too small to compete? What he needed was goals, and to do that he should have put each and every Celtic player available to him on the pitch.

And regarding Spains lack of height, I'm sure the PEDs more than compensate.

Hopefully Moyes will be unemployed for a fair while then hehe

Who would everyone CONSIDER as a replacement?

I'd personally like to see Derek McInnes given a Part time role for the rest of this season and decide whether HE would like the job Full Time next summer.
Add in I'd like to see a defensive coach on a contracted Part time contract. Someone that has been seen as a world class defender in the last 10-15 years

It's hard to see past McInnes.

I just hope to God they don't appoint some dinosaur like Alec McLeish just because he's available. Let's face it, most of the available managers are available because they are crap.
