To be fair he isn't far wrong, we pretty much deserved to win every game weve played this season, had we had another striker we'd have been right up there. http://www.thesportbible.com/articles/paul-merson-...

Usual suspects moaning as usual.
You don't think we need more than one? you don't think Kane needs a rest? It's not like Kane would be dropped for any of the games we've played so far, and I don't think he should have been either. There's also been injuries to contend with. Everyone has to deal with them.
I'm sure they'll look in the market in Jan, but you don't always get what you want.
Utd don't have much. City after Aguero aren't that deep. Chelsea after Costa are a car crash. Arsenal have Giroud and then trying to convert wingers. Liverpool don't even have anyone fit.

And that's why they bought Son and N'jie. To rotate.

Neither Son or Njie are Strikers they play with Kane not instead of him. It's not like Kane would be dropped for any of the games we've played so far, and I don't think he should have been either. There's also been injuries to contend with. Everyone has to deal with them.

We've done this before..
Manyoo have Rooney, Wilson & Martial all of which can and do play the Centre forward roll.
City have Aguero, Bony and Kelechi all of which can and do play the centre forward roll. (they also have Dzeko and Jovetic on loan)
Chelsea have Costa, Falcao and Remy
Arsenal have Giroud, Welbeck and Sanchez
Liverpool have Sturridge, Benteke, Ings and Oringi
Spurs have Kane.
Note these are strikers im talking about not converted wingers or no 10's.
I cant see how any one could question having another striker at our disposal would have had anything other than a positive effect, we are woefully light its as clear as day.
I'm not talking about just having a name with 'striker' attached to their position. It's about having someone who is going to add something to the squad.
Chelsea having Falcao and Remy as back ups to Costa is about as effective as playing Terry up front.
If the club couldn't buy someone to add something then I'm glad they didn't. And paying 25 mil+ up front for Berahino would have been stupid.
I'd much prefer the approach the club took with sorting out the defensive side of things. There is enough attacking capability in the squad to create chances.
Yes, I would like to see another option come in, but not just for the sake of it.

But they could have that's the point instead our chairman's ego got in the way. Why? Its the very definition of mismanagement.
I'd rather not sign one season wonders who did even less than our own one season wonder for silly money.
West Brom have never bought or sold a player for more than 8 Million (ish I think), so have no clue about structuring deals.
We'd then be in a position this season of a 25m+ player sitting on the bench getting 10-15 mins a game.

The manager would though he said it in a number of press conferences surely its his opinion that matters? We make fun of the clubs who piss money up on the wall on failed transfers and have enough of our own without adding another one for little/no reason.

And a fee couldn't be agreed. I'm sure the manager would quite like a number of players but if you can't agree a fee that it's all a bit of a moot point.
Crikey, this is the point, the fee could have been agreed but Levy let his ego get in the way. I'm talking about a fee acceptable to all. The two clubs couldn't agree so no point getting worked up about it.

That's like saying a fee could be agreed for Ronaldo.

Its nothing like saying that at all. The fee was acceptable to them their chairman said as much and it was clearly acceptable to us because in the end we made it. The problem was timing due to Levy's ego. I'm talking about a fee acceptable to all. The two clubs couldn't agree so no point getting worked up about it.
Time to recall Oduwa from thugland football?
"THE Shielfield Park striker sent out tweets mocking the on-loan Ibrox winger after last night’s shocking challenge.
A BERWICK player has enraged Rangers fans by suggesting Nathan Oduwa deserved the shocking challenge that could have broken his leg.
The on-loan Spurs starlet was the victim of a horrendous lunge by Livingston’s Kieran Gibbons during last night’s Petrofac Cup win by the Ibrox side.
"To be fair if Oduwa comes up here acting the big man and playing the clown he'll be treated like that"
