Certainly no worse than townsend and clearly a lot better the lower division Scot thugs who appear to have a rather simple way of dealing with skilled opponent.

What's the advantage of leaving him at Rangers which exposes him to a high risk of picking up an injury? Spurs have a duty of care to him.

Recall him, then loan him out to a first division / championship side where he's likely to get greater deal of protection.
