I know! And we haven't even got to the opening fixture yet who knows what other insane injuries are yet to come, Lanzini wont be the last. Surely Antonio is due another 4-5 monther?

Nah, we’ll stroll that one - all the Liverpool players will still be resting up from the World Cup wink

Well, if we get Felipe Anderson and Issa Diop this week that would be a great start to the season in terms of transfers! A decent keeper and a solid midfielder would be my next targets.

Pellegrini said they would get 4-5 big signings, not sure getting Fredericks on a free counts so should expect two more?

I would cool your jets there old son.

Expecting big signings at WH is akin to ploughing the sea.

Unless you mean big as in Benni McCarthy types, who can't go past defenders or pie shops.

Congratulations, the first and almost certainly only, use of the word "optimistic" on this thread. Well played that man.

How do we feel about losing Antonio? Personally I always liked his play but then he became injured often.

I dont think WHU can sell a player based on injury record, otherwise we would be shipping the entire first team out haha

A bit gutted, I like that he came through from grass roots football rather than an academy. On his day he is such a good player, bullies full backs, tonnes of pace, good in the air, can finish. Personally if we can afford to keep him on the wage bill and still bring in some other players I would keep him and get rid of a few others like Byram/Carroll etc.

That's how I feel, we don't think we should be letting him go. I wonder what's behind it. Surely he can't be specifically looking to leave so I imagine the club are prepared to let him go.

I wonder if Pellegrini is behind it? maybe he has decided he isn't the right player for the team? Or is it Sullivan?

Its all gossip of course so who knows!

I don’t think he is particularly popular with other players/members of staff.
