Stick Fredericks on the long term injured list by the sounds of it...
FFS - I hadn't seen that one. MOTD highlights, when they bothered to show the game, were utter ste.

Still AC will be back for a guest appearance after the International break.

I know we've got an injury crisis at the moment but still........this smells like its going to be as successful as the Benni Mccarthy deal if you ask me!

fking crazy isn't it - and also assume that Lanzini's return is further away than anticipated.

Get Rice's contract issue sorted first FFS.

Yes, another washed up has been to sit in our treatment room.

I’d prefer to pay more to keep Rice.

A signing like that can't do good for Rice's mindset if he doesn't get a deal he wants wrapped up soon.

Looks like by signing the Man City 13/14 and Arsenal 11/12 team back together is what David Sullivan meant by building a champions league team?

I’d say the signing is being done because Gilbert & Sullivan know that Rice is leaving. His head has been turned by another club. We’ll find out soon enough.

I don't think that he will be & I think that a deal will be reached.

Signing yet another journeyman & one with particularly st recent past isn't going to appease anyone.

Hope you’re right about Rice.

Agree about Nasri. Makes us a joke.

Looks like Arnie wants out soon

Will it be a big blow?

Agent/brother st stirring; presumably wants some more cash.

£50m+ & he can go though - #27 took us for a ride for fk all so Club needs to stand up, that includes not coughing up £250k for a carriage clock as well ffs.

Worse case, he goes, we sign Nasri & lose Rice rolleyes

I know someone who knows Declan Rice & he truly wants to stay at West Ham & he has had offers from a few clubs north of Watford which he has turned down.

Didn't have you down as an in the know type of guy, BCM, but I hope you're correct!

Arnie is a great player and will be missed sorely if he does go, maybe we can swap him for that midget that left Stoke to join Liverpool plus 50m if he wants CL football scratchchin

Looking at it objectively, as a player you only really get one shot in most cases and in ten years your best years are gone. If he wants a pop at champions league then all the best to him, but the club should demand what he is worth. In this climate he has to be a £50m player, we had all the stats thrown at us over the last 12 months about how many goals he is involved in, we should be leveraging that. Age aside, he is a better option than Lukaku for sure for Manyoo for instance, a better player overall.

I hope Rice stays, it would be good to see a home grown come through - he spoke very highly of Noble in the press last week but can imagine every club and its dog is throwing 'opportunities' at his agent right now.

I'm confident he'll stay - said the same a couple of posts ago; don't blame him for playing hardball though as he'll be well aware of what others are getting (especially the sicknotes).

He'd be a good replacement for Arnie.
