Sounds like Zabaleta is pretty much a done deal - we'll be able to field a side in the Veterans League soon, at this rate.
He's 32, why is he leaving ManC? sjc said:

He's 32, why is he leaving ManC? Can't argue with this ... A pretty fair summing up.

I still rate SB as a manager. It was a tough season for several reasons but I would stick with him for the time being. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premie...
I'm old enough to remember us being relegated under John Lyall. The board stuck with him and we came back very strongly including winning the FA Cup. At least this time we're not facing relegation.
On the basis of all the upheaval this season ( and the emotion of last season that may or may not have carried us on a wave), I'd give him 10-12 games into next season. But make no mistake, we were very very lucky in the games mentioned in the article and could easily have been relegated.

Interesting article & pretty much covers it - summer will be interesting.
Worth bearing in mind though the sheer number of fk-ups on the pitch that have lead directly to goals and number of late & last minute goals that we've conceded this season from leading positions (v spuds (A), WBA (H), Bournemouth (A), Hull (A), Sunderland (A)). With some organisation & decent on-pitch management the outcomes could and should have been much more positive in all of those games IMO.
In good news Club won the PL2 yesterday for promo http://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2017/may/16-may...

That would be my view too. And expect that the summer transfers are better than last year'sRichB said:

As soon as I heard we had signed Ayew for all that cash I was worried for this season. I agree with 10-12 games next season, if things haven't improved then at least we've given Slav a fair crack of the whip.
That's about right, 10-12 games. Agree about Ayew, I don't dislike the guy and seem his a good squad player BUT we seriously overpaid.119m I read somewhere is the figure we will get.
Strange season, I gave the OS a chance at the start of the season but couldn't settle. Have been a handful of away games this season and enjoyed them a lot more. I like to have a sing a long and stand.
On the overhand I have been over to Lazio a lot more this season including 3 Derby Della Capitale and the Coppa Italia Finale. Having made a lot of friends in Lazio last season I now have the honour of being allowed down the front of the Curva Nord. Atmosphere was top class for the Derby's and Cup final really shows you when you get all the signing fans in one area what an OS can be turned into.
Looking forward to a few Hammers away games next season but doubt I will grace the OS again.

Forecast @ £121.9m so last result made quiet a difference, hopefully we won't piss the dosh away this time.
Didn't get to any away games this year but had planned on S'hmpton - pity as it turned out to be a decent one.
Will aim for spuds away at Wembley next season and maybe one of the far north ones.
