Lawro has the match down as a draw, the Telegraph say home win.

Sounded like a POS but least that's another point and clean sheet.

Just imagine what would happen if Chica was played in his correct position...

Like playing Antonio as a RB, Slav seems determined to play Chica on the wing.

Presumably because we had a centre back three? Does that preclude two up front? I had assumed he'd be played as a striker alongside Carroll.

What is the quickest way in and out. Going into straford. And is their a place to get a beer nearby?

Home or away?

If your coming from the station you'll be directed around the outside of the shopping centre; if you ignore that & your early you can generally walk through the centre and use one of the exits from the malls.

Pre-pint depends on whether you want a walk or not - lots of bars/stands selling beer at the ground or there's the Podium bar (next to the large metal sculpture). There's bars in Westfield - lower food mall or right at the top.

There's a couple of pubs on/near Stratford High St - Builders Arms or Railway Tavern (pretty close to the railway station); or there's a couple of Bow Road (easiest to get back to the ground via DLR to Pudding Mill Lane) that are home pubs.

DLR to Stratford High St and then Railway Tavern for me usually.

I'll be enjoying the West Ham welcome for the first time on Saturday, looking forward to it.

Home. I'll be coming from the city so may just drink here and then get the central line down.

Worth noting that the stadium searches now take place on the bridges that take you onto the Island (rather than at the turnstiles into the ground)

Not sure if it's quicker compared to last year, I got to the Hud game early (18:30) last week & there wasn't any queue.

Thank you chap. I'll probably jump on the central at 7 so should be there around 7:15.

Is this leaving it too late?

Wouldn't have thought so as once your through security it's easy to get around the ground & to seats - the stadium's huge though so it can take a while to walk around depending on where your seats are (upper tier's a long, long way up!).

It's also quite a hike from the railway station.

Thank you fella. I might aim to leave about quater to 7 then. I am using entrance H which is the closest side to the station.

I heard it could have been 5 or 6 nil but 3:0 and a clean sheet will do. For those that went, did you enjoy it?

Just home. The match lacked atmosphere and Bolton looked poor imo.

Still a wins a win.

I wouldn't read to much into that, it was very much a protest game for us.

In all my 20 years as a season ticket holder that game would have been included in our season tickets, this season the powers that be (on top of ripping us off for a st) took away this game and the next cup game.
