Nobes is definitely past he's best, how he didn't get the second yellow, I'll never know, he's just not quick enough anymore.
Some good play on saturday, but as has been said, we left holes all over the place, wanted the game to finish so could go home.
On another note, have been parking in Hackney and walking in along the canal for the last 2 seasons. Arrive at normal parking spot saturday to find that Hackney council have now done the same as Newham, and have put event day bans everywhere. Nowhere to park at all now. Why oh why do they have to make it so bloody difficult for everyone. Back to the train now I suppose.

Nothing going in, I enjoy the journey. But I can get home from the match from where I park by about 6.15,on a Saturday. On the train its anything over 2 hours+. Also with a car full of people it's way, way cheapersjc said:

Sanchez offer much more - similar ages surely.
Bang on the money really...its such a key position and the position has been revolutionised by the likes of Kante who are hugely athletic, can make a good pass, can break from the back etc. aside from the occasional great pass Noble doesn't possess any of it.
The guy has been a great player for the club, but we can't sit on sentiment, the club has been missing a spine through the middle for too long and it needs addressing. Fast.

From the little I saw on Sat, Sanchez moves the ball quicker ( admittedly he wasn't being pressured on the ball as they were sitting back inviting us on by then), he hits his passes with far more zip and generally looked a lot more buzzy and athletic. If he's positionally disciplined as well he mightjust be an asset in-spite of what Villas fans are happy to tell us.Sanchez offer much more - similar ages surely.
