We’ll either crumble and go down 4-2 or hang on grimly for 2-1.

Oh well, good to see we still have the old "Where the fk did that come from?" performance in the locker.

Bodes well.

Not seen the game as I’m away, but going by the text updates it appears we may have gone slightly more direct Moyes style in getting Arnie in behind?

I didn’t watch the match so looking forward to MOTD. Great result and greetings from Newcastle where I actually succeeded in finding a pie n mash shop. yum

So sounds like Wilshere is out for something like three months, the inevitable has happened. Can really see him being a problem player for availability over the coming seasons.

Sweating now on Arnies scan today, fingers crossed its nothing more than a niggle but suspect he will be out against Chelsea.

And why did Antonio come on for Arnie instead of Perez? I don't buy the whole warmed up and down argument, surely for half an hour you put on the best player in that position even if it means having ten for a minute while the guy gets warm again.

Antonio probably the better option in the scenario?

Hmmm possibly, seems odd we would invest in a big striker and not bring him on.

Kept the option open to bring him on if required a bit later on - he wasn't so MF changes made instead.

Thank fk it all worked out though smile

Yes if we hadnt got all 3 points being 3-1 up with 15 mins to go I would have just thrown in the towel!

Chelsea next, going to be a nightmare that one if we have no Arnie up front as we are going to need an outball against their formidable midfield.

No problem. Andy Carroll’s bound to be fit & on top form. rolleyes

Should put Wilshere and Carroll together as room mates, at least then for half the away games each season we can save a bit of money on hotel costs...
