Apparently West ham have already rejected the bid. Cannot see them selling now and leaving us 20 days to find a replacement, unless a stupid offer north of £75m comes in from some wealthy club. Even then why would he want to trot off to China to play in an inferior league when he could get paid £100k+ at a champions league team, surely Chelsea/Serie A or similar would throw silly money at him.

I don't think he is in the Payet camp at all, he still has that passion for the team that Payet didn't have, can see him leaving in the summer but not in January...

Why would Arnie suggest that when he had CL clubs and top 4 potential across Europe wanting in on him not so long ago. China is not an easy place to live, the quality of football is dire, he will get no exposure to top level European football. I think if Solanke are Diaz going for nigh on £20m then even £45m is too low. He is good for another couple of years and in a top team would score 20+ goals a season. That is high value and in the inflated UK market would put him £50m+

You look at it, who could we even get for £50m? Its not just finding the player, its convincing them to join a mid table team.
