Getting back to the tube station was a nightmare that thursday.
We cut though the Carpenters estate and into the station from the other side, its maybe a 5 min longer walk normally, but avoided all the congestion at Westfield.

I'm sure he'll love it.
still can't get my head round the fact that we actually play there!
I can't get my head around the fact that I will never again watch a football match at Upton Park. cry
That' true as well.
But it's nice to know I can now go to a match in flip flops without risk of swapping them for flippers when I want a waz !
Give it time smile

As there's only a few of on here can you say how you find the Carpenters Estate from the OS?

ETA found it...

Interesting, I wonder if they made changes after the NK Domzal game?

Was ok for us after the NK game? Jumped on the DLR no problems.

In fairness, we did go to Las Iguanas for Tapas after the Juve game, so it was generally quieter (who has been able to say that after a home game before? smile )

Stratford International - walked up the concourse, turned left instead of right where all the marshals are, then a quick right and down the steps thumbup

He needs surgery apparently.Couldnt make it up.
Just hope it means that Antonio will get a chance on the flank again while he recuperates.

Sorry, a busy day yesterday, I didn't have a chance to reply.

Yes, that's just about it - when leaving the stadium, instead of heading towards Westfield go right, cross South Lawn, left onto Loop Road, right under the railway bridge then first left (Gibbons Road) and second left (Jupp Road). Over the footbridge at the end of the road and the station is in front of you.
Hope that makes sense.

Looking forward to todays game, injuries (8 out FFS) notwithstanding.

Suspect we might see something of Callieri (sp).

Really - hadn't seen that, assume recent?

Saw some rumours about Bony on loan until Xmas yesterday.

Edited to add: appears it's a knee injury, 4-6 weeks, which will presumably be two months minimum...
