Not sure if you watched the extended 12 minute highlights of Watford but Haller looked fantastic, almost scored with an overhead back heel and what wasnt obvious was his role in the build up to Lanzinis penalty, won the header then made the run. He really looks a massive step up from Arn-I want Out-ovic a huge step change team is much better for it.

Newport tonight then, huge banana skin, looks like Ajeti is starting.

Ok the biggest thing bugging me is JW’s first west ham goal they keep banging on about. I watched him score against athletic bilbao.

I’ve turned it off. Not that it matters but an absolute shower of a game. I think i could have came on at half time and slotted in. Terrible. Really awful.

Only played for the first 35 mins of second half, got lucky a couple of times but job done.

Bang average that. No leadership on the field, Sanchez an utter liability, he must watch other players make 10 yard passes to feet and be so jealous. Our second goal came about because he misplaced yet another simple pass and the Newport failed to clear. Ajeti looked really average but hey first game so fingers crossed he improves.

First time I seen the keeper and thought he looked decent. I'd give him a try in the league not just in cup games. At first glance he appeared to have tracky bottoms on but we're in fact super long socks .
