Zero interest in games behind closed doors, football without fans isn't football.
I've seen some footage from WH's training - forgot we had some of the players that now seem to be fit - squad should be good enough, but it's been another stshow so far this season.
Not sure if anything's changed re rules yet - there was mention a while back re VAR, given how many decisions have gone against us this season that would be a complete pisstake.

Very odd feeling about starting up again, have got an empty vessel in my head that is usually full of the current position, where we are, the form, who's up next, who's injured, who's ste etc etc. TBH not sure I can arsed with it all, especially with no crowds.
But as ever COYI.
Yep, that’s pretty much where I am. Can’t get enthusiastic about footie at the moment, that may change when it all gets going again though. But as ever COYI.

Yeah really have lost the will to engage with football at the moment - and having seen a couple of games on TV with no crowd, its a shocker to watch.
Perhaps they can overlay some 'oohs and ahhs' like they do with those st comedy programmes. Would be quite appropriate for our lot. Yeah was joking about a mate, who suggested a dial to add in canned cheering at the right moments!
But yes, its ALL about the money, nothing else. Whilst other leagues just call it a day and prepare for starting next season properly the Premier League cancelling was never an option. Money talks, the division sold its soul to the TV companies, premier league football is an entertainment channel now, not a sport.

It's a proper kick in the teeth tbh because there are so many influences from the games in front of crowds compared to playing what are essentially pre season friendlies. We probably were going down pre Covid but who knows what will happen now? I really think the season should have just been canned. How will the pyramid stand up if Championship etc keep going cos teams are gonna get relegated which should knock on down every league? Can't quite wrap my head around it other than it's just about the £££.

I’ve just heard that Antonio isn’t training. Compassionate leave apparently.
Who has he lost? https://greenstreethammers.com/2020/05/29/west-ham...

Be interesting to see how the relegated clubs react at the end of the season. They will have been relegated having played at a disadvantage (no home games). As we know money talks so I’m sure someone will be going to court to try to claw back some of that Premier league money pot.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
