There are at least 10 European teams equipped to go further in the CL than say Spurs for example so why would top players come here apart from for the money. There is more chance of joining PSG, Porto Besiktas etc. and getting at least in the window for the top table. How many players do we export, and why? Lack of quality, that's what. We have maybe 3 world class players in this country.
You need to wait until the dust has settled from the FA Cup final before you come back, there is a vein popping out of your brow angry man.
I no more care about yesterday's Cup Final than a Plymouth fan would, what an odd thing to post. I'm certainly not angry, more bemused with your ill-informed, ignorant assertions. You need to wait until the dust has settled from the FA Cup final before you come back, there is a vein popping out of your brow angry man.
You keep banging on about "here". If you think that someone is going to join Porto or Besiktas than United, City or Chelsea because they think that they have more chance of winning the CL then you are out of your mind. Why have Pogba and Silva moved to Manchester if the EPL is so st?
There is no "here"; it's simply individual clubs. Players don't sign for Real Madrid because they play in La Liga. It's an utterly ludicrous premise. Outside of England there are only 4 pre-eminent teams; Barca, Real, Bayern and Juve. PSG simply pay huge wages. Real and Barca also pay huge wages, on top of almost zero tax and the clubs even help out with tax fraud. So all the top players sign for top money. Did Bale take a pay cut when he moved to Madrid? Or Ronaldo? What top players have joined Besiktas? Ryan Babel? Demba Ba?
Players don't sign for leagues, they sign for clubs; based on a combination of wages, profile, competitiveness & opportunity. You seem to be very confused; between clubs & leagues, clubs & countries, English players playing abroad and god knows what else.
I just can't fathom why spurs fans think they can come on here a pipe up. They've won as much as Sunderland in the way of trophies in the last 9 years. Spurs biggest achievement in that time is a Decent that saw them almost make a title race out of Chelsea and Leicester, but when it actually mattered bottled it both times.
The crux of the matter is that the Premier League offers substandard quality, evidenced by a lack of any showing in Europe. Players want to win the big ones, or at least be in with a chance. No WUMming, just telling it how it is. If you think the quality of football is competitive with the best leagues in Europe then fair enough; I don't and no evidence suggests I am wrong.

Of course in 2000/01 Liverpool did marginally better than the sour faced git on the right there, and that was derided as a "plastic treble". Never mind though, it's all bantz and we go again, next season. That was very nearly the last century. Please don't tell me you're a scouser

That took him three years to build up to that "marginally better" performanceTrabi601 said:
