Just read a report that if Shaw doesn't impress this season we'll enquire after Danny Rose next summer.
That ain't happening.
We burnt our bridges with Levy over Berba. I doubt we'll even get their tea lady so long as he's in charge over there. He wouldn't parlez over Bale or more recently Dier but he will sell to City. Still, we're in good company as he won't talk to Chelsea either after the Willian thing.

The Shaw of the few games pre leg break is still in there. Valencia got patience from the club with a similarly severe injury. I hope Shaw comes good. That ain't happening.

As for Dier feels like the Carrick signing. That turned out okay. We've still got Carrick. No rush
I'd have thought the Matic deal was the more likely now Chelsea have bought a replacement. As I've said, I'd rather get Dier but if Levy truly won't entertain a deal I suppose Matic is better than an aging Carrick for next season.
I'd put either at the base of a triangle with PP and Harry in front buzzing about wherever they like in front (with one eye on defending between them). With a front 3 of Rash(Martial), Rom(Rash) and Miki(Mata) we'd have loads of movement and still plenty width and cover behind.

Agreed.
I've no interest at all in buying any of those Spuds. All massively overrated and massively overpriced.
Dier is bang average and would still cost tens of millions.
Rose is slightly better than bang average and would cost the Earth.
If we are so desperate that we will play top dollar for those kind of players just because they are at a decent PL side already, our whole scouting staff needs the bullet!

This is indeed encouraging but I'd like to see the breakdown of appearances in which competitions , I can't believe that Utd lead the way promoting youth in premier league appearances. More likely they were used for the lesser competitions , happy to be proved wrong though.Black can man said:

No, he won't just keep buying players in. Tuanzebe, Pereira and Fosu-Mensah will all get more game time this year and so will Rashford and Lingard. That's 5 that will be playing this season with Gomez and Mitchell not far behind!Last season will probably be a bit of anomaly for Jose as there were lots of injuries so some kids did get used. No, we weren't. king wonder they have more minutes The only game that had an extraordinary number of youth players was the last game of the season against Palace. Tuanzabe started against Soton, Spurs & Arsenal but that's it.

I believe you were quoted more for Morata? could be wrong though as Keyser says not everything I read is true, luckily I have wet dream Keyser to keep me in line...
