I agree entirely. Probably too soon to draw any conclusions, but certainly a lot more enjoyable than recent seasons so far.

Yes, its way better. I saw somewhere that despite it only being mid September we have already scored 33% of the goals we managed in the entire 15/16 EPL season ... That damn Mourinho and his bus parking

I dont think that washes really teams have been putting 10 men behind the ball against Utd for as long as i can remember.

Is it already time to think about a Top 3 of the Manchester clubs plus Chelsea? The rest don't look to me to deserve to be mentioned in the same breath.

Way too early in the season. Every one of those 6 teams will have their good and bad patches.

Three differences:

(1) The bad teams in the PL used to be a lot worse defensively than they now are.

(2) The bad teams in the PL used to be a lot worse attacking than they now are. You cannot now leave just 2 players back even against the average PL side.

(3) The bad teams in the PL are now vastly more defensive than they used to be. Back when I were a lad, even the relegation hopefuls would play a little bit of football and usually had 2 strikers. Now teams often start with literally no strikers and 3 defensive midfielders.

From what I remember (I may be wrong) but it was fans of other teams telling us we're bored of United's football rather than actual United fans saying it. I can't remember many or in fact any United fans saying the football is particularly boring.

Yeah, we were lucky there and certainly not 4 goals better on performance. I was surprised Gana was taken off, I thought he was doing really well for them in midfield and that seemed to me to be the turning point. We missed Pogba big time in there today, would have preferred to see Herrera come on 20 minutes sooner the way the game was going.

Weird isn't it? I don't see the performances so far this season as being much better really, but the results certainly are! It's just been that slight change in personnel, an increase in confidence and more clinical finishing that's made the difference.

Very, very poor, lazy performance. Stoke did well in the second half and deserved to win it.

aside from the fact that basically none of those say anything about being boring .Being poor doesn't equate to boring necessarily,nor does the other team playing well.
