Bale's not a number 9, so that would surprise me. But would be great because it would piss you boys right off wink.
It woruldn't piss me off, i'd love to see him back playing in England week in week out.

We wouldn't be able to afford him & o guess it's only yourselves or City that could & city have too many flair players.

Surely a football supporter should be bothered about what happens on the pitch, not financial matters? Unless you are a financial supporter of course.

The fact that Utd is run properly gives us the money to compete in the transfer market. We are such a good club that we can have an owner that takes money out, rather than putting it in, and still compet for the best players.

I'm mearly stating on the MANCHESTER UNITED thread that we are the most valuable club in the world. As a Liverpool supporter, what's it to you if we discuss financiall matters as well as football matters on the MUFC thread? Football is also a business these days so there is no problem discussing both imo.

All the anti-money stuff in football is Corbynite idiocy. I cannot even begin to understand the level of stupidity involved in not wanting football clubs to operate as businesses.

Off topic, I know, but we are facing "Brexit Mark II: Morons Win Again" on the current polls.

For you Manchester based chaps there's an event on at the football museum on the 27th June, An evening with the Class of 92. Dinner then a Q and A session with Giggs, Scholes, Butt and the Nevilles. If it's anything like the Cantona do a while back it'll be a good night.

Ffs I've seen us linked with about 8 different people today biggrin

Although the Griezmann one seems to be looking more and more on which to me suggests Rooney will deffo be off. Think the Carrick testimonial will be his last game in a red shirt!

Has anyone seen the French Huawei advert floating about. Griezmann feature in it declining/finishing a call from Jose.

Hope its not like Pogbas drawn out saga last summer.

Interesting, lets hope that it comes to fruition.

To be honest though, can you imagine the uproar if, having been linked to us repeatedly, a much valued/loved Liverpool player took part in an advert where its insinuated he's just been talking to Jose?

Run for the hills smile

They just don't seem to have the same sense of betrayal once you get over the channel.

If they don't overturn their transfer ban I can't see them selling him this year. They aren't going to give up their best asset and not be able to replace him.

Transfer ban upheld. Athletico can't sign anyone until Jan 1 2018.

Wonder if that means Greizman stays of United simply negotiate harder knowing Athletico are stuck.
