I know you really shouldn't get excited after a pre season friendly match, but I have to say, I'm loving how it looks like Lukaku has hit the ground running and also how other players are playing as a result of him being in the team, Rashford and Micky T being prime examples.

We might even get top 4 this year hehe

I'm happy to offer the same as I did to the Spuds (none of who took it up, all mouth and no trousers), money that you'll end up below us. What say ye?
It our defence it was a st offer, we could have walked into any bookies in the country and got better terms..
As you seem incapable of understanding that you won't win any money personally, as the winner gets to nominate the charity that the loser sends the money to, I'll be much more generous.

You put in £100 and I'll stake £200. Winner chooses the charity that the money goes to. Yes I know I've increased your stake, but I've offered odds on 2-1 that we finish above you and a bookie won't offer that.

Deal?

No sorry, you took a sensible offer. I'm just calling this specific Spud out, after all they've got the most amazing team the world has ever seen. If he doesn't take that then it shows how little faith they have in the Greatest Team Ever TM Spud WUMers

I knew you weren't really that confident.

Anyone can join the predictathon and see how good your predictions really are..... We're a friendly bunch but once there are 20 people, no more get admitted.

I've had a couple but spent most of the day getting pissed wet through at a very wet Anglesey trying to get a good bike set up ahead of next week's marathon 1000km Endurance race at Donington.

I was happy enough with the "league where every other team's top scorer didn't count"

Very generous mate. But I don't see them queueing up to take you up on it.

They won't do. I know it's a stereotype, but the Spuds do love to discuss money in depth, but shy away from risking their own.

Ooh yes I'll have some of that. And because we are all football fans my chosen charity will be for the victims of Hillsborough.

I have to say though my reluctance for making a bet on here is because the last one of made I won but was never paid out was a charity bet to. I'm sure your better than that though.

So deal. May the best team win.

Great. Mine will be a cancer charity that I'll confirm nearer the end of the season. I will pay out and will post a pic of my contribution as proof, if I lose.
