WUM WUM.

Pretty damning for all the other teams if we're not bothered about the league and have won it 20 times.
As a club, not supporters, you don't care how you get to sit at the top table, just that you do.
So on the one hand we don't care about winning the league, just qualifying for the CL and on the other all we care about is winning the league. You're not the brightest spark are you.

You never know; I plan to be around at least another 40 years and I reckon Liverpool could grab a couple more league wins to pass the 20.

No WUMing, just putting your comment into perspective; after all, you aren't even really bothered about the league (as a club), more about qualifying for the CL. How long until you surpass that one?
Whereas United won't win any in that time?

If a bookie would give me odds on it, I would bet big money on Liverpool not winning the league in the next 5 years.

I genuinely think they are dross. They overperform to be even within touching distance of Utd, Chelsea and Man City.

Spurs, despite have a pathological case of loser mentality, seem a more likely winner in the medium term (although still very unlikely).

But we don't want to win it. Or are we desperate to win it. Or maybe we don't. Or do we. I'm confused.

We want to win it, but we don't. Whereas the Spuds have a much easier view of life. They don't want to win anything, as that would mean they're successful and they are st scared of that.

Utd are the last side you can sensibly accuse of not caring about winning the league. We care about it so much that we literally USUALLY win the PL.

Other sides cream their little pants at finishing in the top 4 and pretend it is a trophy. Arsenal used to be the worst offenders. But Spurs are now front runners for that honour.

You might want to revisit that, you've won it once in the last 5 years.

The PL has been around a while longer than that.

How often has your side won it? Must be a few given how awesome they are.

Nothing but a name change, but you probably weren't following a team before then.

Quite a lot more than a name change.

But that's inconvenient for sides that haven't won a thing in the modern era.

13 of 25 is definitely usually. However, we've not been up to scratch in recent years.

You used to win the Division One title more often than not in my formative years, but it's been a long time since you last won.

Who is living on past glories the most?

Have you landed on whether we want to win it or not?

Fergie has gone matey.
Mourinho is a winner yes but you'll have to put up with the st that comes with him.
The fella is a bellend. He might bring you the premier league yes but it is much harder these days. Especially when you have Pep spending £250m in a window creating his own side.

As I said, primarily you want to be in the CL and whatever position gets Mourinho that is OK by him.

Is what I said, which is the same thing, apart from namedropping Mourinho.

No. That still doesn't say what you want it to say. Keep squirming.

Definitely true that it has got harder to win the PL, at least most years.

But let's not forget that Leicester won it recently, so it sometimes isn't terribly hard.

How do you know what I want to say? No squirming here; you want to pick me up on something - not quite sure what - because there is at least an element of truth in it; not bothering towards the end of the season kind of takes it away from the common fan doesn't it?

SAF wasn't all sweetness and light, but every one of us loves Alex Ferguson

Mourinho is just as much of a cock, but we all love him too. However, we accept that according to the Spuds that he's rubbish and can only win trophies by spending a fortune, unlike Pep............ oh, the rest of them.

There's only one United and the ABUs are worried.
