So when he was asked "what do you think about these rumours linking you to a big money move Spain or X?" did you expect him to say the truth - "I like it at Spurs and like the manager, I'll give another year or two and consider my options. Nice caveat Kane added there. If that movement in the right direction stops, say you do an Arsenal and don't sign anyone of note for a few years whilst you pay off the stadium, maybe you'll get top four and maybe win a FA Cup or Carling Cup in those years, but no league title or European glory - the likes of Alli and Kane will definitely want to be winning trophies elsewhere.
Of course, I don't think any Spurs fan would begrudge them trophies and deep down we know they'll go if they feel the club isn't going in the right direction.Is this the Spurs thread version 2.0?

Good Lord, you couldn't make more of a fuss about a decent(ish) side that has peaked and will break up soon! It's even worse than Arsenal because at least they were decent for a few years running.
Your side came 2nd and hasn't got the balls to even try to push on. Congrats!
The idea that there are no affordable players that would improve your squad is hilarious! You could sell one of your average players for £50m and buy someone decent with the money, for example.
