Perhaps because you've got 1 point in the last 2 games, including losing your cup final. Normally, it's WUM City from the spuds.
Looks like we are saving our first team for the likes of Dortmund & Madrid.

Were all just playing for 2nd 3rd & 4th aren't we , City look just too good . I hope they go on to win the league as they are great to watch & it
would be much better for a flair team to lift the title than basically a West Brom with money.

Talking of West Brom, how did you get on? You'll have nothing to play for come the end of Feb.

And we’re back to money again rolleyes Of course the team you’ve now decided deserve to win the PL have generated all their own money haven’t they?

The best team win the league every year, it tends to be decided towards the end of the season though, not pre-Christmas. However, some managers seem to be throwing in the towel already, as have said team’s fans. Sad.

I love Bertie Magoo the Bitter Blue, having a cry on this thread though. His bitterness is so ingrained that he can’t even be happy when his team is top of the PL and playing great football, instead he has to let the bitterness flow. Back to Stockport amd your sad bitterness life, Bertie.

Your lot aren't that bad. Barely scored any goals this season, but they're better than WB, probably. Best team in the Universe, too.

Love the guy above banging on about the bias of the 'MSM' - sounding just like a delusional Trump supporter or Brexiteer.

It's "we're", not were. "We" might be, but looks like you are in a battle for top 6 now.

As long as they continue to entertain then yes i'm happy for them to win it early.

I can't help it , i just love the beautiful game & nobody right now plays the game as beautifully as City do .

We have no chance of stopping City , we may well beat them like we did last season but we cannot compete with their millions , who can ?

Best team in the league.

But the arsenal late goal made me chuckle more. Leaves you scrapping with the Scousers, Watford and Burnley for an upper mid table position. Oh how the best team in the world have fallen.

It's interesting really, we've had a few real bad performances but I still think we are the best of the rest as I guess you think you are? And the dippers think they are? And Chelsea fans think they are? The goons are different they are too busy booing their greatest ever manager to realise where in the league they are! I still fancy us to finish above utd when all is said and done.

City are gone no one will catch them. It's actually a bit of a shame it would have been the title race of title races without them.

You've lost to all the big teams. That doesn't bode well. And City could have it wrapped up pretty early in the season.

That's just the latest media bat. We've beat real, dourmund and Liverpool already this season. Big teams aren't our problem. We've drawn at home to Swansea West Bromwich and Burnley. That's our problem.

Love it.

I reckon you will be 5th at best when the dust settles on the season. The Derek Hatton Fund for Refuse Collectors already has your 50 quid earmarked for a regeneration project.

And as any follower of the LFC thread knows, I am never wrong.

We're talking about the league. You've lost to all the big teams you've played.

You've got no chance of winning the CL.

In the league we've beaten all the big teams over the last few years so I'm really not worried about is having a 'big team' problem.

Wheres that come from? Who said we did?

Once upon a time in the past makes you sound like the Scousers. You've lost to all the big teams this season. That's a fact.

Now you're just being obtuse it's hardly once upon a time. We beat you a few months ago and taught Liverpool a lesson a few weeks ago. We've also beat city Chelsea and arsenal in the last 12 months.

We're talking about this season mate. Your chances this season. Your (take note when you don't use and apostrophe BCM) league form. This season.

If only if we could spend £90m on a midfielder & £80M on a striker .
