If Matip, Klavan and Lucas are out and Gomez isn't ready, who would be play at CB?

Can?
Or Milner and have the glue sniffing flyer back at LB?
What do you mean Gomez isn't ready? He is fit and available and he has played in central defence for us this season... he should be the one. Inexperienced but he will have Lovren and Mignolet in his ear.

I thought the post above mine was about Gomez when it was about Grujic.

Will get back in my box.

Grujic even when fit early in the season didn't figure. It was like Klopp saw enough of him in pre season and decided against him.

If he's not going to be pushing for a first 11 position then he should be loaned next season. He needs to play.

Interesting...

"the club have made more money back in the first year of the new £114m Main Stand than they anticipated"

So while I can understand the CL having an impact, they must surely REALISE there is a demand for the new stand and it WILL make money...

Though that goes against what we were being told earlier in the season in that it wasn't making as much money as they'd hoped because of the poor uptake of corporate.

True. Difficult to know who's actually presenting facts when 1 articles says X and 1 says Y... Be good to get it from the club directly.

IF he managed to land those targets, it would be a step towards making us more competitve next season. I still think that Van Dijk will end up at Chelsea especially now Terry is leaving.

As most people knew already, Sakho is finished at Liverpool according to Sky.

Interesting what he says about Spurs being perhaps slightly ahead in their development. Fair comment really.

My tickets are available at £75 each if anyone fancies it. I've been invited to go in the main stand hospitality.

I wonder whether Lazar will be offloaded, too.

If anyone will have him. He's consistently failed to set the world alight. Despite blowing his own trumpet a bit when he arrived. But yeah, he'll be on his way if an offer comes in.

Really could do with Burnley getting something out of this United game. Could really go a long way to cementing a top 4 place today if we get a positive result too. But could also go the other way too... where it would be out of our hands technically!

Looks like Burnley are getting nothing!

As for us - its a home game, their defence was awful without Sakho. If we want that top 3 or 4, we need to keep showing we are worthy of it. So nothing less than a win, or we may as well forget it. City and Utd are both capable of a top 4 finish so we need to keep racking up the points.

Would a Sakho for Zaha swap be a good deal for us?

Very thin, on the bench. Dearie me. Sturridge by all accounts has had to miss training again most of the week. So bye bye Sturridge in the Summer, I guess.

Realistically, who would be willing to take a risk with Sturridge?
