Eh?

I made the same point on Thursday to which you disagreed. Change of heart?

My original point remains; if we can afford £150m on strengthening two positions then there must be a wealth of players to choose from.
Change of heart about What?
My original point, see above

The tackle on Keita isn't great - badly timed. His response is pure filth. Not sure I like his temperament!

All I know of him is his ability in FIFA on PS4, in which his really rather good!
laugh yeah my point was players fall out and tackle rather aggressively in training sometimes, it happens. We'd never have known about this if he wasn't the subject of speculation at the moment.

I think I said about not listing who we should go for as all u ever see is the same list of players when in reality there is a lot of very very good players out there most of us with know nothing about but all prem clubs will
I cringe when i see people saying who we should go for having pretty much only watched their own team all season bar the odd champions league game and motd

I don't know if there's any substance to it, rumours are Chelsea are also interested in Van Dyke.

It wouldn't surprise me.
Who have they got Cahill, Azpilacueta, Luiz and Rudiger to play the 3 CBs in the 352 formation?

I've seen a lot of 'VvD prefers Liverpool' on Twitter which is madness if you ask me.
I'm not sure why he would rule out Chelsea or City to come to us.

It might give us an excuse to put in a bid for VVD. If Chelsea bid and Southampton accept they are clearly open to doing business for him and we can bid as well without looking like the bad guys (again)

As long as they "don't do a Spurs" when during the Ings transfer when Spurs made an offer of £12m for a player that was going to be out of contract and his fee to be decided by tribunal due to his age, when their only real intention was to try to really drive up the compensation fee, knowing full well he wanted to come to Liverpool.

You say that, but sometimes you have to wonder.

I can't think of many of the top 6 in the Prem buying some relative unknown that has turned out to be quality.

Further down the league I'd agree, they know they can't compete for those big names so have to try and take a bit of a flyer.

I'm probably wrong, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Maybe he's an old romantic at heart. How much nicer to really want to play for a club and try to be part of a renaissance rather than just a number ...

I don't think anyone knew who Hyppia was.

Peter Schmeicheal was under £1m from memory. The mighty Tim Cahill and Mickey Arteta wink

We're City top 6 when they signed Joe Hart from Shrewsbury?

Could be...but then if he's playing for Inter he probably wasn't that unknown hehe

To people like us he was , there is lots signed who realistically 90% of most prem fans knew nothing about

Kante
Mahrez
Garcia
Hypia
Siguardson
Martial
Viera
Henry
Cantona
Juninho
Coleman
Kompany
Ronaldo
Zabaleta
Yaya
Kolo
Solskjaer

I cba writing 50 but there is easily 50 - as i mentioned earlier most fans will watch every game on their own team, then the odd Sunday game probably if their mrs is busy or the odd champs league game - very very few will sit and watch a bundesliga game, or a french game etc etc so when a player who has been ripping it up in that league i.e Keita - he would be very well known to probably all clubs in europe as he will have been watched numerous times, but to 90% of fans back here in the UK you get 'who' ?
Does that mean he is a nobody or a bad player or in reality does it mean you're a follower of your own team and thats about it and unless you played the team he plays for in question you would not have a clue about him unless he played in the champs league against say City and you happened to watch it....

Kante and Mahrez are basically like Mane for us.
A premier league team has taken a punt on them due to their potential.

It's not likely we would go to RB salzburg and buy Mane as at the time he might not have been an improvement over what we had.

Same with Kante and Chelsea.
The teams like Southampton and Leicester who have to shop in the bargain bucket may sometimes unearth some gems.

Cristiano Ronaldo was unbelievable potential hence his silly pricetag at 18.
Anthony Martial is similar as he could be world class.

Yay Toure was decent at Barcelona. Can remember his runs from midfield. A proper power house and by googling I can see he only left there because of Guardiola. Seemed that Guardiola preferred Busquets in that position but also Yaya might have had the wrong attitude.

Coleman is a good shout. Everton done well with him for £60k?

I am not necessarily o n about if they were decent im on about how many of us 'premier league' fans really knew who they were and how they played - yaya prob not best example but most of the others are what I am talking about

In other news, ings and mane back in full training
