FFS! How long will it take our management to realise that zonal marking doesn't work. We've been sieve like when defending set pieces for years now ever since it was brought in.
I honestly don't see why the top teams employ zonal marking?

Palace still have to play Spurs, City and Utd, so lets hope they do us the same favour!

Champions League you're having a laugh. Klopp has to take some blame for these performances, he is far too slow to make changes and when he does they are odd to say the least. Our best defender was on the bench for Palace today and while Benteke might not suit our current style of play, neither does Origi.

We need City to whip United on Thursday. Goal difference is very tight between us 3, we are now level with City and only 2 ahead of United. This 3rd/4th spot will go down to the wire but we are no longer in control.

Klopp I am afraid again meeds to take the blame for this defeat. How many times are we conceding from simple set pieces? Does he not work on it during training? What exactly is he coaching? It's been like this for years with no change.

If you finish 5th but united win the EL do you qualify for CL?

You could argue Lovren at fault for both goals. From memory he was also responsible for conceding an unnecesary goal at Bournemouth when we were 2-0 up and cruising... he is just an average defender, still looks nervous at times - he is possible squad filler at best. He definitely needs to be replaced in the first team.

Bloody awful place,
Better get used to it. You'll be back there at least 19 times next season.

Can definitely for the second one. Your season is maybe going to peter out to nothing which will be a shame ...

Bloody hope not.

I will get loads of freebies if we do play there, but i really hope we go Milton Keynes instead.

We have till the end of the month to let Wembley know if they have been successful in getting us to play there next season.

At least it will give the likes of the Liverpool players to play on the big stage if we do.

I am eagerly waiting Klopp's post match interview. Willing to take bets that he'll say:

1. We don't have problems with set pieces
2. He is to blame
3. We'll try our best to get 3 points next game

And there you go. Klopp admits it WASN'T a set piece error that led to the 2nd goal it was and I quote: "we missed one ball so it's not about defending a set piece, it's only we missed the ball on the first post...."

Eh? It WAS a set piece error. This kind of denial IS exactly the reason we are continuing to make the same type of errors.

I wonder if Spurs can petition the league to play away twice rather than at Wembley? hehe

Looking on the bright side, 6th is better than last year.

I think we already have 6 more points than the end of last season.
Hopefully we will get a few more points
