As long as they "don't do a Spurs" when during the Ings transfer when Spurs made an offer of £12m for a player that was going to be out of contract and his fee to be decided by tribunal due to his age, when their only real intention was to try to really drive up the compensation fee, knowing full well he wanted to come to Liverpool.
I still say that was a shifty deal done by Spurs to get Trippier on the cheap.Black can man said:

If that was the case, would have been a dangerous game to play. Negotiation could have gone.... well you are willing to pay "£12m" for Ings, then surely Trippier is worth at least the same!type-r said:

The more I hear about the Can story, the more I think he will be gone.
And the FSG cynic in me thinks it will happen right at the end of the window when it will be too late to sign someone new. It risks leaving us with only an injury prone Henderson who can play the deeper role.
The money raised from selling Lucas, Wisdom, Stewart, Moreno, Can, Laser and Sakho will I think leave us with a net spend of single figures if we have Salah, Anderson and VvD as our only 3 signings.
Which is why I'm still hopeful of Keita joining us. Even at twice our existing record signing.

My wife does this - imagines the worst possible outcome from a series of events and then complains about it as if its a fact. So looks like Coutinho is on his way (according to Spanish radio), I wonder how much for.
Not according to Klopp https://www.facebook.com/empireofthekop/videos/101...Ructions said:

And if Coutinho should leave... ? I think the club already knows if Coutinho is leaving. And if he is then we should just put 100 million down for Keita now. That will end that.
Midfield of Keita, Lallana and Wijnaldum with Henderson and Grujic and maybe Can to fight it out.
Attack of Salah, Firmino and Mane with Sturridge, Origi, Woodburn to Ings to fight for a place.
I'd be devastated to see Coutinho go. But if he's going we should just overpay for Keita and make an offer they can't refuse.

That's a definite then.We are not getting Keita.
