Liverpool got lucky with that Maribor late equaliser , could have left a tricky last tie.

Not that it really matters with their woeful defence, they won't last long.

All inter team banter aside, I've actually been really impressed with the performance of the English teams in the CL this year. They've pretty much all qualified to the next round which is a first isn't it?

We've all been saying for years that the Premier League is one of the most competitive in Europe but the results in Europe haven't really backed this up previously. Could this finally be the year where we are proven right? I'd love to see an all English CL final (Spurs being one of them of course )

We are a lot stronger at home than away, so I can see that if they get an early goal, or if it's still a draw in the second half we will st ourselves.

So I don't feel like its a shoo-in.

We should beat them though.
