Funny thing is we don't seem to be making any attempt to keep him, something is happened I think
If we didn't have Trip I think it would be a different story.Walker is the best right back in the league (excluding clyne obv.) id be very sorry to see him go, I actually think he should be captaining the side.
BUT poch has made it clear that no one goes without him giving it the okay so if he goes its with Poch blessing and that's good enough for me.
I do think there is more to this though.

I think that Walker's pace is the thing that gets him out of trouble but how many sides really come at us with an out n out winger ?
Trippier for me is a better all round footballer & he's distribution is miles better than Walkers & he's crossing is sublime. ( better tattoo's too )
I would rather him stay but if he wants out then fair enough.
Fingers crossed the the young lad from Fulham is in the bag.

I think we are going to see some astonishing transfer fees and wages figures this summer. Not just the usual inflationary type increase with one or two exceptional amounts, but a complete recalibration of what's "normal". It's the first transfer session following the new TV deal for the Premier League and the clubs are absolutely awash with cash. To give an indication of the uplift in money - Sunderland, who have just been relegated having finished bottom of the league, receive the lowest payment from the PL but it is more than Leicester received when they won the league last year under the old TV deal. It's great that the clubs have more cash but the downside is that players and agents all know this too.

And of course the fans never see any of the benefits! It's great that the clubs have more cash but the downside is that players and agents all know this too.
