I just love it when someone winds moron ho up, he jumps up all arm wavy like a true latino. All shouty and bravado but basically full of wind.

On a diff note, Morato, you dont have to fall over when you feel some ones breathe on your neck, try and stand up and actually DO something

Will be leaving home in about an hour to make my way to the game. Nervous, but despite my usual doom and gloom, glass half empty pessimism, I have a good vibe about today and think we'll get a draw!
And tonight's lotto numbers are........

Tough school here. RLC hat-trick & star performer & no views or comments. CHO gets a decent run out. Can the youth "policy" finally start to pay off fro the 1st team??

Went to the game and then joined colleagues for a leavers drinks til 1 30am...that's my excuse! laugh

RLC was excellent last night, he looked like he really wanted it and was the focal point of the team. Everything good about our play seemed to go through him. Absolutely delighted for RLC, he couldn't have done any more. I felt like a proud dad this morning! Hopefully this will be the game to kick start his Chelsea career and the Sarri interview seems promising in so far as RLC is taking on board the tactics and disciplines.

The trouble is, him, Barkley & Kovacic are fighting for one spot as the other 2 in midfield seem set. Kova definitely has the edge defensively which means he will be very hard to displace. I'm already a big fan of his and would love to sign him permanently but we do need a goal threat from midfield which the other 2 could offer.

Certainly a headache for Sarri but a good one.

The best part about the game was seeing my 6 year old nephew attend his first game and love every minute. A lucky boy indeed to only have to wait 2 minutes for his first goal and less than an hour for his first hat trick! That's the first I've seen and I'm 28!

I hate that, people going for the first time and getting stuff they should have to wait years for.

I took some American friends to the Bridge for their first ever game in 1994, and this is what the buggers got!

Along similar lines...

The good friend who took me to my first Yeovil match in 1971 died in 2001. In more than seventy years of following them, he had seen them relegated twice then promoted back up plus a few FA Cup giant killings.

Since my youngest two were born, they saw an FA Trophy win, promotion to the Football League with a record points tally and two more promotions into the Championship by the time they were 13.

Indeed it did. Spurs will always manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They are both now members of the NYC Blues.

Tell me about it. My boys are 20 & 22, and followed me into supporting Chelsea. At their age I'd seen us win 1 FA Cup, the Cup Winner's Cup, and that was it. They've seen 7 F A Cup wins, 5 league titles, 1 cup winners cup, 1 Europa league and a Champions League.

They've not had a sniff of a relegation dog fight, no relegations, and certainly no 6-0 losses to fking Rotherham (Nov 81).

And they get soap and running hot water in the toilets. Stamford Bridge never used to have toilets in the toilets.

After the cup final in 97 my mum said she felt sorry for Middlesbrough...my late nan responded she didn't due to all the years my dad had suffered of Chelsea not winning anything laugh I have been blessed but at least I got soaked in the west lower a few times before they eventually got the roof on! Not sure that will make you feel better twig!

Somehow forgot I had seen a hat trick - Lampard against Macclesfield. I only tend to remember Mikel's 20 yard toe poke into the top corner though. A rare sight!

I see Glen Hoddle has been rushed to hospital seriously ill.

Hope he's OK. He started the change that has got us where we are today

Always the odd moron, sye. Seem to remember Gerrard shirts being burnt when he handed in a transfer request smile

Proper hero's reception tonight for a wonderful player. Nice one for Jody too. We got away with that one...Neither CB good enough on the ball, played at a pedestrian pace. Can see why the first XI remain intact!

Agree about the CB's.

Christiansen seems to have lost his confidence.

For Cahill the game has moved on. Every team now tries to play out from the back and Gary is typically English old school and would rather hoof it to a big centre forward.

Defending was comical at both ends.

Great treatment for Frank but this seems to be the norm for us. Mata got applauded throughout last week. Other sets of fans seem to get more bitter and twisted about ex players, particularly Liverpool with the likes of Torres and Sterling. Even the Gooners still boo Fabregas.

Closing Fulham Broadway during the game was bloody irritating!

Think it depends on the circumstances...... Frank was at the end of his career & had been a great servant. Mata was very popular & think it was well known that Mourinho dumped him. I don't remember Gallas being too popular on his return, nor do I suspect Courtois will receive a warm welcome!

That picture is a few years old, goes back to when Man City played us with Lamps in the squad.
