Aside from maybe Llorente, who was a B team player in your starting line up last night? All I see is poor squad depth due to Levy not spending any money, which will be your downfall.
Wow ! Do you really think we need to strengthen the squad ?Fair play to Spurs they dug deep in unfortunate circumstances, but Chelsea were far the better team over the two legs .
Penalty shootouts are a lottery but it would have been a bit of a robbery if Spurs made it to the final
No complaints from me .
I could also look on the bright side and say that at the business end of the season all of our top scorers will be returning to the team rested.

Such a great advert for the English game.
I bet Higuain was sitting there thinking "this is a bit quicker and more exciting than I'm used to !"
(Hopefully, he was also thinking he'd have a field day if he was playing)
A great advert for the English game. A bad advert for British officials.I bet Higuain was sitting there thinking "this is a bit quicker and more exciting than I'm used to !"

I'd be a little apprehensive that a player that was struggling in Serie A to get a game will do any better in the more rigorous and much faster Premier League.

Have you recently attended "How to be magnanimous" training? Fair play to Spurs they dug deep in unfortunate circumstances, but Chelsea were far the better team over the two legs .

Been Spurs fan for 50 years so I’m well accustomed to losing .
You’ll not see me blaming VAR or refs
It’s all just a bit of fun at the end of the day , no need for anyone to get upset.

Enjoyed that last night. Would have been injustice had we not won after the incorrect VAR decision from the 1st leg. And what was going on with Hazard being through on goal and Alderweireld taking him down from behind. VAR did us over both games. Thankfully it didn't matter in the end.
Oh and Martin Atkinson was quite laughable. How the hell did Dier not get booked at all (4 fouls in the 1st half) and ONLY 1 Spurs player (Sissoko) got booked in the entire match? LOL.
But the Hazard tackle was outside the box ?. That is not what VAR is used for so there would not have been a review.Oh and Martin Atkinson was quite laughable. I really wish the FA would sanction a programme on Sky or the BBC before next season so VAR can be explained better than it has been.
Press were very negative on Sarri last week when we were beaten by Arsenal.
Press last night and today aren't being so negative on Emery. It's mainly about Solksjaer and his brilliant winning run.
Sarri is higher at present in the league and has got to his first cup final in his first season.
Standards.

When Sarri was on his winning streak at the start of the season the press were giving him massive credit.Press last night and today aren't being so negative on Emery. It's mainly about Solksjaer and his brilliant winning run.

Last weekend he was hammered by them because of the change in system and the fact we did nothing. Last night Arsenal had the most possession, the most shots on and off target so why would they have a go at Emery ? Solskjaer deserves all the credit he is getting.
Sorry, I don’t buy in to this “they’re all against us” conspiracy/siege mentality stuff...

Jermaine Jenas last night said "Emery is doing an incredible job". He certainly hasn't said that about Sarri. Both new managers in their first season. One is still in the FA Cup, has a League Cup final to look forward to and is higher in the league at present............as I say. Standards.

After the speculation over CHO over the last 24 hours it will be interesting if he gets a start today......
£40m they say Bayern have offered.Starts - I don't think we'll be selling him this window.
Bench - Possibly selling.
No in squad - definitely gone.
