Taking stock of the negatives

  1. injuries
  2. suspensions
  3. players on strike
  4. lost our Wembley dominance
  5. feeble PH post count compared to Spurs
it's not easy to be positive.
In all fairness chap, as twig said earlier most of your fans are just 6 years old.

Not sure how that's relevant even if it were true.

I saw on the Spurs thread that you're in the over 55s camp. Maybe your brain is getting a bit addled?

Such a shame he is charge of that horrible club.

He seems such a nice chap.

Defensive lineup and a youthful bench but no other options.

It's actually shocking how a title winning side squad has been dismantled.

Top 4 looking a big ask already.

If Chelski lose today, i'm calling it a crisis.

I think dismantling may not be the appropriate term.

Fabregas and Cahill suspended, Hazard injured are temporary set backs. I know in the Community Shield our team list (on the back of the programme) was a lot shorter than Arsenal's but length isn't everything, particularly at Wembley where width is important.

She mentioned that and asked if you could stop phoning her.

Bloody nightmare eh.

That starting 11 cost £270M & the bench comes in at £60M

It's shocking. We've even had to loan out 35 players to cover their wages to make ends meet. Hopefully our desperate situation will engender sympathy and get neutrals on our side.

Never going to happen i'm afraid, seems everyone pretty much dislikes the way Chelsea have just bought all their success .

It wasn't a serious suggestion but thanks for answering.

You'll win. It looks to me like Spurs still haven't worked out how to play at Wembley.

Spirited performance. Press will have to move on from "something's not right at Chelsea".

Encouraging too that Batshuayi is better with his head than I'd realised.

Well that was an unusual game of football. Great goals, how Spuds didn't find the net i have no idea.
