Theoretically this makes things easier.... but that's not a red and I'd rather he didn't get sent off. fking VAR Still a long way from the kind of performance we'd like to see, but winning football is winning football. Hope we can build on defensive solidity next season, it's not like we're lacking in good attacking players in the squad
A 1-1 draw away at RM seems like a great result, until you watch the game. Huge chance to kill the tie off has been missed. Should have been 3 up after 20 mins. Hope it doesn't come back to haunt us. Very frustrated. Some terrible final balls were played. So many over hit passes when a good pass would have put someone in on goal.

Just goes to show what a savvy experienced manager is worth!A comfortable 2-0 win oover Fulham, and today, the women has beaten Bayern 4-1 to reach the WCL Final, having lost the first leg 2-1. Brilliant result, final against Barca on 16 May.
Long way to go, but how amazing would it be for the men and women to both reach the CL final, and both win!!

So, a CL final, but given the chances we squandered, if that had gone tits up, we could have had no complaints.
The league table doesn't lie, and if both teams are at their best in the final, City will beat us. But getting to the final is brilliant. It would be great to win it but I won't be suicidal, like I was in 2008, if we lose.
I'd love to win to have 2 CL wins to our name, so if another London club did win it, like WHU or Palace, we'd still be one ahead.

Same feelings here...... but to be the only team in Europe ever to have won all three European trophies twice would also be somethingThe league table doesn't lie, and if both teams are at their best in the final, City will beat us. Great performance. Ramos looked his age tonight, jesus. A lot of chances wasted but a good result. As you say, the league position doesn’t lie. City will be big favourites, but it’s all on the night.
