Personally I'm not sure I class Chelsea quite in the same realm as City and PSG any more. Setting aside for the moment the incredibly shady owner, Chelsea haven't really been that active in the transfer market for several years. They were quiet for several windows, sold Hazard for a decent sum along with one or two other fringe players and then were able to take advantage of those sales in a depressed market at a time when no one else was buying. And now they're reaping the rewards.
I do have far more interest in the likes of Leicester competing for top four places, or self sustaining clubs like Liverpool, Utd or Spurs entering a title challenge, but IMO City and PSG are blatantly flouting FFP, whereas in recent years I think Chelsea have tried to remain within it.
Did they not have a transfer ban recently?I do have far more interest in the likes of Leicester competing for top four places, or self sustaining clubs like Liverpool, Utd or Spurs entering a title challenge, but IMO City and PSG are blatantly flouting FFP, whereas in recent years I think Chelsea have tried to remain within it.

Gooners and Spuds I know speak similarly of Chelsea. You winning these cups doesn’t really affect them like it once did any more…your continued silverware collection since the arrival of RA is inversely proportional to your relevence to them.
They are lying to you. It's killing them. Especially Gooners watching us win the CL ....again. TwigtheWonderkid said:

Even my best mate who has been a life-long Gooner (was born half a mile from Highbury) and been a season ticket holder since 1971.......has put his ST on hold for another year and has seriously considered changing to a Bees one now they are PL, as he has lived in nearby South Ealing for 30 years, and his son used to play for one of the Bees Junior teams when he was a kid......all because of whats going on with Kroenke and the running of AFC.

First and last 5 mins were a bit dodgy, but the rest of the half was a walk in the park. Men v boys. Expect them to come out far better in 2nd half, so it's not over yet.
And so it has gone.... but it's too late. Even improving to parity still leaves 0-2, I don't see them scoring 3 - or even 2 - whilst we score none in the 2nd half....Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
