Whoever it is at the club who makes these decisions needs the fking sack frankly. With all the money in the game and the club, for us to be arguing the toss over this is just, well, small time.
Thankfully this shameful episode has been concluded and the young lad can stay at school.

I agree, both for the sacking and it finally being sorted out - really poor treatment of him.Thankfully this shameful episode has been concluded and the young lad can stay at school.

I know this is off topic but is anyone likely to have any tickets (3 would be ideal) for later on in the season, at Anfield? The Newcastle game on the March 3rd would be ideal.
Find it hard getting tickets without going through a travel company, or paying £150+ per ticket in hospitality.

It's like Groundhog day; all the same issues repeated. If only we'd had a transfer window to rectify these issues......
Nearly all the great sides have been built on a sound defence; and until we see that, then I'm not sure we'll see proper sustained progress.
Way back in the 70s, one sports writer said, " If you put Liverpool's back four across the East Lancs Road, not much would get through".Nearly all the great sides have been built on a sound defence; and until we see that, then I'm not sure we'll see proper sustained progress.

(This is not saying we should get rid of Klopp/ get Rafa back - just some of our forwards would do well under him, and he's an obvious coach for actually sorting out the defence).
Klopp out!
Please please please sack him. We Utd fans want to see you get rid of a decent manager because of your ridiculous over-estimation of your players and absurd over-ambition for the teams.
You can then change manager every couple of years until you find someone competent again.
We've been there in recent years - not by choice- and it's not much fun to have a typical manager rather than a skilled one.
