Not a penalty. Ball to hand.
Would have been V harsh.

Karius just came out 16 yards and caught a ball under pressure. Amazing scenes,

Might be a tad early but thoughts on MoM?

Pretty hard to pick one buy i'd give it to the Ox. His energy in the middle has been superb and probably the difference.

Ox has probably done as much as anyone.

We’ve not been as good going forward compared to recent games, but we are starting to look much better at the back... set pieces used to put the fear of god in to me, but not now. VVD just seems to have added that layer of calmness at the back. And his distribution is excellent.

Agree about the OX.

No harm in a nice safe 2- nil win. Nice to have no drama.

Nailed on foul at the end but not a pen.

Performance was a bit rubbish, but who cares, 3 points, 2 goals and a clean sheet smile

Hoping for another non eventful game on Tuesday..

Good solid win. Rafa did as predicted with his tactics but ultimately we had enough to get through. And if we avoid slip ups we could go unbeaten at home for the first time in years.

The lino on the near side has had a mare today; at least two poor offside decisions and a clear foul at the end there.

By the time Spurs kick off against Bournemouth we should be 5 points ahead of them.

Ox, looking like an excellent signing. Front 3 superb. Karius, don't want to freak anyone but I think he's improved markedly. Maybe Klopp has an idea what he's at after all smile

The Ox might just be the midfield general we have been missing. Completely bossed the middle. I am sure he will add goals to his game the more he plays - but right now, he is moving the game forward. Love it!!

Also regarding Karius, what I liked more than the world class save he pulled off, was that he had nothing to do for 44 mins but was fully concentrated and switched on for the save. Growing every game.

Yes he's certainly improving, just hope Klopp doesn't get silly ideas and think that he is actually good enough.

3 points and no injuries was the main aim tonight, but it was good to get a warm up against another team that parks the bus.
