In fifteen minutes iOS 11's out. Who's upgrading right away and who's waiting to see what problems it might bring to their iPhones, iPads and whatnot?

As I only got my iPad last week I will upgrade as soon as it lets me.
I am mainly an android person, but I seem to be slowly going over to Apple (MBP and iPad). Had an original iPad mini previously and didn't like it much. So far so good.

My sons eagerly counting the seconds.
Personally, I think I'll wait a while.

I had it weeks ago on the testing thing.

It does some new stuff when you swipe the screen etc but it’s not exactly groundbreaking.

I've been on the betas for a while, so I go the final version on my iPhone and iPad last week, but the watch os beta wasn't available publicly. Now I'm waiting for it and it's not showing up yet.

All installed and been using it for a while. What an absolute crock of st.
I could be doing it wrong, but split screen does not work as well as before. Not much groundbreaking stuff in the update.s

Upgraded on my 7 and aside from the fact the font now looks like it’s designed for a 6 year old I haven’t seen anything else that will be of any use.

I’m sure there is, I just can’t find it yet!

My lads been showing me some of the new augemented reality (?) apps. They’re quite good.
The new keyboard style is quite handy.

For anyone trying to update via iphone on ios10 beta profile remember to delete the profile and then restart your phone. I was wondering why I wasn't getting the update when checking.

Been having a good look around it and there’s quite a few interesting additions.

Recording the home screen, the way on my iPad apps are open and retrieved for example are both very clever yes

Just updated (iPhone 6S+)

Apart from joking with my mates on FB before I did that “I may be some time”, it did all seem to work OK.

My Siri cloud9 - she’s cute - does seem more natural, but I don’t really use her much. So we’ll have to see if I use her more.

Music is probably the one thing I expect to use an awful lot, but I can’t really see any significant change yet

The Control Centre thingy just looks and feels a clunky clunky of a thing. I feel like some sort of drunk two-year-old stabbing the screen with a blunt baseball bat....

But, hey! It ain’t broken!

I’ve just upgraded on a 2017 ipad.

Like the dock and control centre.

Keyboard I like the way I don’t have to press a button now for special characters, but it seems slightly easier to accidentally add special characters to words, but generally it’s all good.

Spotlight search now puts apps below web results and hides them under the keyboard so not a fan of that really.

The split screen seems to work just as well as before to me contrary to another poster, just a different way to invoke it.

Files app is a nice addition but I’d only use it for google drive, and I’m not a fan of the way it functions, rather just use the drive app.

Notes app looks better but I’m fully sold up to google keep.

IOS 11 apparently fixes compatibility issues with external dacs which is a good thing as I’ve got one on the way.

Overall not a bad change so far as I can see on an iPad at least.

The multitasking on the iPad is much more of a faff than it used to be. ‘suppose I’ll get used to it.
