I was expecting an earlier model for some reason. At least 3 generations featured n/a V12 engines.

Ad says why settle for a 750 rather than the 760?
The main reason is fuel consumption - the 750 will return 25-29mpg when used for runs - the 760 v12 is far more thirsty.

Also i think all of the 760's are long wheelbase (Li) - which means it's 5" longer than the normal 7 which hangs its arse out of every parking bay i've ever been in.

Engine is going to more costly and complex to fix, although the v8 does suffer from the valve stem seal problem though.

You don't buy a new 760li if your worried about fuel consumption or parking spaces, that's what your copious amounts of money and driver is for.

Probably for sale cheap because of mileage and age and type of customer attracted by car, but what a motor for £3.5k, gearbox will probably need attention soon I'd guess, whilst it's out do the chains and then the engine should be good for another 200k miles, does have the potential to cripple you in one hit though.

love the wheels!

Passed an F07 (?) 760Li on the M4 going into Cardiff today. 4 square tail pipes. looked very smart.

The seller's other items are very tempting also. He specialises in Barges so it seems.

I used to have a lci e65 (swb) 760i, great car. If I was in the market for a barge it would be my first choice. Mine had over 100k on the clock but never missed a beat and was faultless.

It's done a lot of miles and has a long list of MOT advisories.

I thought that was mine at first! eek

Same exterior colour, same 20" Individual wheels, same platinum white interior colour(yes, even on the steering wheel).

Mine's only done 1/3 of the mileage though...

It's possible to get 400 miles from a (88l) tank when on the motorway - but I've also had less than 200 around town too. It's never going to be a good looking car, but it's fantastic at taking 4 adults cross-continent in comfort, and at speed.

There's only around 160 760's in the UK, they're a rare beast. I love mine.
