Seems we have a few supporters of the Iranian regime in here, not just the football team.
That is a fantastic Ben Elton style sentence. Lets get back to football as just mentioned.

Was expecting a deluge of goals from today’s three games.......

But it’s been very disappointing.

Early goal form Iran ideally, make it interesting. Can't see more than another lengthy seige though.

That was just a huge deflection from the defenders attempted clearance.

we have a club commentator at Spurs, sounds like a young Jonathan Pearce, but he's a bit st, she's a bit like him describes what we've all just seen; yeah thanks we all saw that and don't need it explaining, the really good commentators build the tension with the play and can fork into either GOOOOOOAAAALLL, or, well that's an opportunity gone begging seamlessly. It's a tough thing to do well and goes unnoticed until it's done badly.

Dare I say it but it's been a bit of a lacklustre start to the tournament so far. Havent really seen any truly outstanding football yet. The st teams are sticking 10 men behind the ball and the good teams are having problems breaking them down with set pieces, penalties and own goals\deflections accounting for a large majority of the goals.

I hope the better teams start getting into there strde and things pick up.

Shambles, that was way to long. Ruined the moment, football is all about the moment and emotion and that was bks. Didn’t even look offside. How did that take ages when the England VAR game took half a second?
