Box is a bt open reach double box, RJ9 above RJ11.

Black cable feeding the box, blue connected to B and white with blue connected to A. Orange and white with orange not connected to anything.

Another cable in box that I believe goes off to slave box. Blue into 2, orange into 3 and white with blue into 10. There is a white with orange that looks like to did connect once upon a time but is unconnected right now.

If anyone can make sense of the above and validate, I would be immensely grateful. Will try and upload a pic, not straight forward on a phone

Looks fine to me.

Get rid of the white extension cable if it isn't being used.

Thanks for looking. This house has BT boxes in every room bar the bathrooms. I know the previous owner had two lines in the office, I have no idea which one this is connected to.

I’ll wait for a BT engineer to come out now as I have no idea what I’m looking at. I know nothing about telephone lines.

Ah, yes there could be a bit more to it than what you have pictured.

Good luck.
