The newspaper amounts are nonsense ,do people think united are going to pay nearly double the salary of the current highest earner (Pogba) ?
Taken off someone whom I would trust far more than any journalist ...Supposedly the correct figure is actually fractionally less than pogba’s wages.
And allegedly city went in for him but he chose united ,he has no special relationship with pep,in fact pep often put him on the bench at Barca for big games and he isn’t a fan of the rotation policy pep uses.
He is not a Ronaldo or Messi that might make united break their wage structure.
Uniteds current transfer priority is to replace ibra as they don’t have much confidence he will be able to play at this level again ,hence why they went for him.
So who knows ,but common sense means anyone thinking united are going to pay 500k a week should check the word gullible is no longer in the dictionary.

Just about sums it up and I’d heard the same about the wages from someone who has a few close contacts within the club. That won’t stop the usual bks being spread though.Taken off someone whom I would trust far more than any journalist ...Supposedly the correct figure is actually fractionally less than pogba’s wages.

Are you really going to pay Sanchez £500k a week ?
I’ve heard via The Daily Bull that it’s actually £7 carillion a week that we’ll be paying. It’s strange that you seem to believe the paper talk on this, but at the same time dismiss any paper talk about your players. On that note, I’ve heard that you’re about to double Kane’s wages to tuppence ha’penny a month.

No need to go all out Gavia again , I was only asking the question & I only heard this from talksport & Radio 5 live .It’s strange that you seem to believe the paper talk on this, but at the same time dismiss any paper talk about your players. The £500k figure is, even on its face, obvious rubbish. It is a calculation (based on made up wage figures) of his total cost over the 5 year period, adding the wages to his transfer fee. Not even discounted cash flows from what I have seen, so literally just a figure to give Daily Mail readers a little envy hard-on.

He's nothing close to a £100m player even now, let alone in 1 year. Everyone has gone stark raving mad about transfer values. A 30-year old player that relies on pace and aggression is not going to sell for £100m.
He's only just turned 29 ffs so how is he 30 all of a sudden? Are you ever happy with things the club do because all you seem to do is moan about it. He's a top class player that has easily got 3 more years at the top of his game. Would you prefer us to going back to signing average st players like we have until Jose came in?

I think you have that wrong mate. He relies on body strength yes, pace, no. He's a very clever player, not a kick and run type. franki68 said:
Is it Neil Curtis at the sun ? He’s just put up an article ,I think his head is going to explode .They all seem apopleptic over this transfer ,how dare united sign someone city are in for.Now we are paying him £1m per day and crowning him king of Chile.
Watch out, BCM will be along soon to get in a strop about your comment. Is the deal done yet? I won’t believe it until I see it, but if we do get him then I’ll be blown away. It’s a real statement about our intent amd will send a message to other players about joining City that United are still here and aiming for the top.
I can’t believe ORD is finding the negatives in this transfer.
I hope he turns out to be this team’s Cantona, but even if it’s just an RVP equivalent then it’ll be a blinder.
