Better now eh!
Came from nothing and totally against the run of play for the last 10 minutes.

The weather isn’t helping though. It’s lashing it down.

Lukaku almost with an assist for Bournemouth. At some point will someone tell him to stay out of the box for set pieces?

Poor first half.

Shaw started well then disappeared

Matic having to run the whole of midfield

McTominay. Either the team don’t trust him or he’s hiding. Offered nothing so far. Needs to come off and add something else to stop Bournemouth walking through midfield.

Lukaku - goal so can’t knock that but his first touch is getting worse.

Defence in general is doing Ok, but Dave’s been worked a fair bit in goal

Putting the results aside that was utter, utter ste. A team totally lacking confidence. Any pressure on us when we’ve got the ball and we fold.

Bournemouth deserves a point as a minimum.

Absolutely st performance again. 2 shots on target at home. Awful.

On a brighter note, the scousers did well to hold west brom.

I think it was deliberate. We were advertising our official mattress partner around the hoardings, only fitting we tried to put people to sleep. It's the next thing in sponsorship...

Seriously though that was so poor. Really look disjointed without PP, but its not his fault we cant hold up the ball (RL), shoot (AM), or not just fall over at key moments (JL). In one sense its an important 3 points, what with Pool and Arse dropping some, but worryingly bad performance. Thought Shaw did well though, at least, and McTominay showed some bright moments.

I thought McTominay was completely anonymous. He spent the first 20 mins falling over trying (and mostly failing) to win an unjustified free kick then completely disappeared. Just because he had the tackle that led to Rashford’s chance doesn’t excuse his overall performance.

Seems harsh to me, thought in the context of the whole teams performance he was ok. Not outstanding, but not bad. Played a couple of good passes, retained the ball ok. Hes no Pogba or Carrick, at least not yet, but still young and on a foul night with his senior players not really performing I felt it was decent enough.

We do need some more creative back up for Pogba, though. Imagine Jose is looking at that for the summer, if not January. If we lose him longer term than a 3 match ban we are going to struggle.

Picking him means that he’s got to perform to a standard. His performance was well below what I’d consider acceptable, along with a significant chunk of the team.

I’m pretty disappointed at the moment. If we were performing ste but leading the way then it’d be almost palatable, but to be 11 points off the pace and deliver what was no better than a piece of LVG dross is simply not good enough.

Yes I’m in a mood and I’m sure some Spuddies will be along soon to quote this ad infinitum, but we are a better team than this and jM has set us up better and dominated games like this already this season. To be totally dependant upon PP isn’t good enough.

Your game was in in the bar too. If each team played 10 matches the same way I’d put money on you winning most of them and us losing most of them.

Agreed.

Half way through the season and despite having an easier half to the season, both the scousers and spuds are behind us.

Well if it cheers you up any, at least Angel Gomes signed professional terms with us today, so that's at least some positive from the day, eh?

Wait til the end, when we’ve had an easier season overall than them

Grim...

The little man and I got pissed wet through on the way in..."it's alright son, United are going to score loads tonight and keep us feeling all nice and warm..."

He hates me right now...

Not nearly good enough. Embarrassing.

It was pathetic, let’s hope we sign a midfielder in jan ,although I’m struggling to think of someone who can do the role required and is available .

We're pretty inconsistent at the moment. At times very good, and at others really poor. It's this consistency that needs sorting. We have the ability to be good, but too many players go missing in games, and that's not good enough. On a brighter note, other than City, none of the other teams are particularly consistent.

Just a suggestion,
If he likes goals you could always take him to the Etihad getmecoat

(And before anyone says it, there’s apparently plenty of seats to choose from smile)
