The press obsession with Jose and United is hilarious. There’s nine pictures of Mourinho as main back page story because he didn’t say much to the press. Yet one small picture of Lloris because he was out drinking until 2.30am four days before a game and had to spend seven hours in a police cell and has been charged with drink driving.

The difference is that Mourinho won't do what they want him to do, and they see more value in pursuing him as opposed to Lloris; a one day headline.selym said:
You remember Liverpool's domination, you remember your domination so you must be able to see a time when your record will be toppled. It'll be a lot quicker if Liverpool demonstrate the end product of the potential they have been building the last couple of seasons.
I bet in 1992 the Liverpool supporters said 'crack on then' too!
You've forgotten the small issue of Man City at present. No one is dominating anything other than them potentially. We'llsee how the next few seasons pan out I guess but i don't see Liverpool overtaking Utd anytime soon. I bet in 1992 the Liverpool supporters said 'crack on then' too!
Edit to add, a domination isn't necessarily a good thing, just saying I am concerned no one will stop city again at present but time will tell.

Damn right he shouldn’t do what they want him to do. They’re there to see him, not the other way around!Jose should concentrate now on doing the legal minimum he's obliged to do contractually and give the press nothing of interest. The players may respond better to not being criticised in public also and rally round each other. Some of them got off lightly after Brighton given the circumstances but it's better kept in house.

Agreed he should do the minimum. I reckon he gave them hell after that performance last weekend but nothing should ever come out of the club. Fergie was famous for keeping things in house and nothing getting out.

Jose could smile, be polite & civil every now & again.
Why? WGAF really? I don’t care whether he’s a wker, or a top bloke, I only care about how he delivers results for my team. Gavia said:
Who gives a f**k. Most managers smile, a bit, scowl a bit and are bland at varying points in the season. If he smiles on Monday night you’ll be complaining that he’s arrogant.
Indeed. And he will be smiling on Monday.Spent sometime with Marcus Rashford today. Fabulous young man. A credit to Manchester.
