Went to the game today and it was the quietest I have heard it. Reasonable attendance but it was like sitting in a library not helped by the fact that clapping was muffled by everyone wearing gloves!
How on earth is it possible to buy a hot drink at half time though? if you choose to queue then you are guaranteed to miss 10mins of the second half - there must be an easier way.
Very comfortable victory though, just what we need in the build up to Wednesday.

Agree with all of this. The atmosphere today was the worst its been all season. I was sat behind the away goal today which is a bit like the old family section at WHL and you are right next to the away supporters. So you have the hard core travelling fans slap bang next to the most quietest / least bantery home support which is a terrible combination. A combination which, worryingly, is how it will be in the new stadium. How on earth is it possible to buy a hot drink at half time though? if you choose to queue then you are guaranteed to miss 10mins of the second half - there must be an easier way.

I said to my mate and his lad to forget trying to do anything at half time which was advice they heeded and did drinks/comfort breaks before kick off. Trying to go to the loo or get a drink at half time at Wembley is utterly pointless. The queues are terrible, not helped by the plethora of Tottenham Foundation trainee staff who are very slow.
All in all it's really not a great experience.
I expect on Wednesday the stadium will be absolutely rocking like it was for the Madrid game. As long as we don't go all Spursy!
Just remembered something else about yesterday's game which I'd not seen before. The teams were late coming out - they played the usual "Ready or Not" montage and the Star Wars music and then.....nothing. No one appeared from the tunnel. Then they started again with "Ready or Not" and the Star Wars music and the teams appeared. Once the match kicked off there was an announcement "Would any qualified referee please make themselves known to a steward" and about 5 minutes after that "thankyou for your assistance the issue is resolved". No idea what happened - 4th official stuck in the snow or taken ill or something? Does anyone know what actually happened?
Actual ref pulled calf muscle in warm up.
4th official took the game
injured ref became 4th official '(and sat on a chair) with a Qualified Ref with him (from crowd in case running about required)
that was on the Live commentary and MOTD
from BBC :
Mike Jones was supposed to take charge of the game but ended up sat down acting as fourth official after suffering a calf injury in the warm-up

Thanks for that. I need to make a note of the 4th official's name then, we got a lot of favourable decisions from him yesterday so he's in my good books.4th official took the game

Jimmy Greaves was a guest of Arsene Wenger at the Emirates stadium last weekend. in the hospitality lounge after the game...
Wenger asked Greavsie... "how do you think the current Arsenal team would fare against the Spurs Double winning team of 1961? "
Greavsie replies, "i think it would be a close run thing"
Wenger walks away feeling very pleased with himself, when Greavsie shouts across the room... " mind you, we haven't trained in over 50 years, you French
