Nope, certainly not, I actually love being a fan of a non-Premier League club as I can watch every game as a neutral and get cross with players who are frauds.
City have had a stty run so it's easy to forget just how good they are.

Meh. Disappointing but in the grand scheme of things not important.

If we play that way next sat then I'll be pissed off but for the time being I'll just think of ways to spend my winnings from the national laugh

Kane hasn't been that sharp since his return. He either isn't making the runs he used to or even when he does, they aren't passing to him. Rather worrying state of affairs tbh.

Come back from injury to early?

Would be sort of typical for him to turn st in time for a world cup.

Kane will be just fine, no need to panic.

yes

He can't score without any service. Our midfield was notable by its absence yesterday, I even saw Dembele get tackled and lose the ball at one point that's how bad it was. I would love to see a heat map of Allis positioning because he was picking the ball up just infront of the 18 yard box a lot. We were playing unusually deep and apart from the opening of the second half we were not pressing at all. So it's no wonder the front line was quiet.

We have to remember we've just had a 14 match unbeaten run - we were the only team not to have lost a PL game in 2018 having last been beaten by City back in December. We need to not lose against Brighton now or we will be looking over our shoulders at Chelsea, but Saturday is the big game it's a chance to get to a cup final. That's the one not to feck up.

On reflection the biggest disappointment and concern was Hugo Lloris.

Could have come out as a sweeper keeper on the first goal.

Perhaps for his failure on the first he then felt the need to make it for the penalty/free kick which was a rash challenge.

On the third he failed to push the ball sideways when making the save and gave Sterling an easy tap in.

That's not to say City didn't play better and deserve it.

It was a terrible performance all round. It was probably one of City’s easiest games this season. A shame not to give them a wobble.

Thanks but we’d had a fairly bad wobble already in the last week. smile

United bottled it then. Laid down and handed City the title. Still, City are deserved champions. The right Manchester club won in the end.

Not bottled. No pressure at all. Just no motivation - the players don’t play for Mourinho and are already on the beach.

On this rather sensitive anniversary for LFC fans, did anyone else spot Ructions highly distasteful comment in the ManU thread?
I'd highlight it on the pool thread but can't think of a way to do so without adding to the distress some will already be feeling.
I've reported it.

I noticed it, but I didn't want to bring it up or give it any attention to be honest.

Edit: He's a Liverpool fan by the way.

He's a belter but I am not sure he meant to reference Hillsborough.

Yeah, he's been a bellend before on this thead but it's probably insensitive more than anything else. I doubt it was deliberate this time.
