First of all, thanks to all of you that have got your predictions in ahead of tomorrow evening's deadline, much appreciated.

So Sweden beat Korea 1-0, a result predicted by no less than five people which was a turnip for the book. Respect to Glover Mart, 48k, Jacob Lawson and J Cremonini for scoring their second maximums and also Oxford Drinker, FA Cup 'thonner extraordinaire, who scores his first four point haul.

Five others grabbed a point too, making it very tight at the top after twelve matches. Posh table to come after the England game tonight but for now..

1st - Glover Mart 13 points
2nd - Jacob Lawson - 12 points
3rd - 48k - 12 points
4th - E31Shrew - 11 points
5th - GTO3R - 11 points
6th - J Cremonini - 11 points

Next up, we go from Swedes to Brussels as Belgium take on Panama (ma na, du du du du du).

Yes, it's not really ideal but there's not enough time between one round and another to do it any other way.

That said, Sir Brabus of Mogsville hasn't done his round two predictions yet... whistle

A comfortable win for Belgium, 3-0 over Panama, sees no fewer than seven players hit a four point maximum.

Top bananas from that last match are Glover Mart, Jacob Lawson and J Cremonini (all for the second time today) plus GTO3R, E31Shrew, JWVW and Pommy. Well done to all.

Latest points update...

1st Glover Mart 17 points
2nd Jacob Lawson 16 points
3rd E31 Shrew 15 points
4th GTO3R 15 points
5th J Cremonini 15 points
6th 48k 14 points

Wow, a fantastic 90+1 winner from the legend that is Harry Kane rescued a win for England tonight. And all around the country, people went wild with joy; there was limbs and scenes and scenes and limbs; tears of joy and wild celebrations...

all except for Lotus Notes who had a 1-1 draw in this game! :furious

Nearly everyone else scored points and five more people hit maximums. Seventy and The Jiffle King both scored four as did E31 Shrew & Oxford Drinker, both for the second time today. But pride of place for tonight has to go to the newbie, Jacob Lawson, who scored his third maximum four-pointer in a row, and his fourth in six games. He now leads the table by a point from Shrew who has a 71% success rate with his results, the highest on the board.

Well done all, maybe it was because the games were easier to predict today, I don't know. But there are some good scores on the doors now, and competition is hotting up.

Tomorrow sees the last two games of matchday one and the first of matchday two. Please don't forget to do your predictions ahead of the deadline at 6pm tomorrow evening.

Night all.
